Position - Ab Initio Sr. Developer
Location - Warren, NJ
Duration -12 Months+
Ab Initio Sr. Developer
Skills and Competencies:
• Minium 8+ years of experience in Ab Initio as an ETL Tool
• Ensures Ab Initio code base is appropriately engineered so as to maintain current functionality
• Design, code, unit test and deploy Ab Initio modules
• Document technical design
• Design, code, unit test and deploy miscellaneous technical modules (i.e. Scripts, Autosys jobs)
• Perform migration of application code and metadata through Dev, SIT, UAT and Prod
• Experience as Design Lead Creating Design Docs, proposing and implementing Design solutions
• Good working experience with all components of Ab Initio such as Scan, join, Partition by key, Partition by Round Robin, Gather, Merge, Interleave, Lookup etc.
• Experience with various Ab initio parallelism techniques, Ab initio Graphs using Data, Pipeline & Component parallelisms
• Good working experience on generic graphs, continuous flows
• Experience and expertise on SQL and Unix shell scripting
• Experience using any of the scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M and/or Operation Console (highly preferred).
• Strong Data warehousing concepts good Analysis skills
Role Description:
• Work with business user community to understand business process challenges and identify solution opportunities within Business Intelligence area.
• Provide support and expertise to the business community to assist with better utilization of Business Intelligence tools and IT solutions, for competitive advantage measures.
• Work with project lead and business users to understand requirements, conduct analysis and recommend solution options
• Contribute to and support the organization's Business Intelligence strategy
• Development and deployment of BI Solutions
