                    Start date: ASAP

                    Duration:  6+Month Contract

 

      

Job Description :

 

 

 

Term: Can be a  6 month contract. 

 Some flexibility if they want to come in early. Possible overtime when they have roleouts.

Culture Fit: Must have excellent communication. Preferably no accent. Team Player. Analytical with excellent written and verbal skills. Hit the ground running. 

Core Client Criteria: 

·         5+ years extensive Linux experience 

·         More importantly experience with Weblogic. Must be able to install, configure and administer Weblogic on Linux.

·         Experience with shell scripting for administration tasks

·         Extensive experience administering and troubleshooting (weblogic) applications. 

·         Need to have experience supporting 5-10 applications as that is what they will be doing. 

·         Experience with Oracle- SOA 

PLUS:

·         Experience with Web Content Management system (perferably Adobe AEM) 

·         Experience with BPM platform

·         Experience with monitoring tools (Sitescope is what they use)

·         Familiarity with IBM DB2 relational databases 

Project: 

·         Working on the operational aspects of the web and application server infrastructure 

·         80% of job will be administering and troubleshooting 5-10 web logic applications. There are 25 total.  

·         20% of the job will be installing, configuring and administering Weblogic on Linux. 

·         Will be supporting their application developers. There are 10 developers and 5 BAs. 

·         Will have one other Sr. Systems Administrator on his team. 

Interview Process:

·         Phone interview with manager

·         Then in person interview with three people on team 

Challenges:

·         Web logic experience and great communication.
