I need assistance with the following role – MUST HAVE FIXED INCOME KNOWLEDGE:

Environment: HP Quality Center, HP Quick Test Pro (for Automation), HP LoadRunner (performance testing), Oracle, Sybase, Linux, Web Services, QC 10.0, Agile,

 

 

Job Description

 

Must haves:

·         8-10 years QA experience

·         Strong Database testing experience

·         Shell Scripting

·         Experience testing in a Linux environment

·         Fixed Income knowledge on risk (analytics) applications.

·         Solid Automation skills (example: QTP, Fitness, LoadRunner)

 

Day to day:

·         Review requirements/design documentation, data models, and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans

·         Assist with expansion and direction of Agile testing methodologies. Help drive adoption of Fitnesse as test framework

·         Ensure adherence to QA process best practices including defect management, test case execution and metrics reporting, requirements traceability, component-based test design.

• Identify and effectively document a suite of test cases suitable for an automated regression test suite
• Model Fidelity's Values:  Honesty & Integrity, Employee Respect, Quality & Excellence
• Report timely project status to QA Manager and Project Managers
• Effectively collaborate and communicate daily with India and US based QA and development teams to report progress and/or escalate issues
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks and standards.  Acquire and maintain knowledge of Fixed Income technical architecture, applications and products.
