Job Title: Performance Test Manager

 

TOOLS SKILLS:

•             Hands on experience on LoadRunner, Performance Centre, JMeter Performance Testing tools

•             Experience in performance testing specially Microsoft think client applications

•             Provides Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the testers

 

KEY COMPETANCIES

PLANNING:

•             Plan, design, and author effective test cases 

•             Prepare Non-Functional-Test (NFT) Strategy

•             Provide NFT estimates/sizing for the work packages

•             Prepare workload models

•             Analysis of requirements specifications and design documents

 

EXECUTION:

•             Assist with the planning and manage Performance Testing cycle

•             Review scripts and ensure accuracy as per performance test requirements

•             Create data, conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and /or customer requirements.

•             Ensure that Performance tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.

•             Prepare performance measurement metrics

•             Assist with development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews as appropriate

•             Communicate Test Results, report findings, recommendations and bring in closure to NFT

•             Work new strategies, value-adds, roadmap

 

PEOPLE / SOFT SKILLS:

•             Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services and customers to expedite delivery.

•             Good stakeholder management and day-to-day management of the QA & Test organization

•             Work closely with on-shore and off-shore, third party vendors to deliver projects to time, cost and quality requirements.

•             Coordinate with infrastructure and environment support team to resolve infrastructure and environment related issues and escalate them if not resolved as per SLA.
