We need profiles with railroad background for the below positions.

 REQ1:

Role: Systems Engineer

Location – Melbourne, FL

The onboard systems engineers will perform a variety of product development and support activities for onboard signaling products.

 

Qualification/Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Engineering

1.       The candidate should be proficient in performing the following:

·         Strong Rail Road Experience

·         Writing System and Subsystem Requirements using tools like DOORS Writing Use Cases, ICDs, FMEAs, etc.

·         Performing System and Subsystem Design and analysis System Modeling using tools like SysML, Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect

·         The candidate should be experienced with communication based systems, serial and IP protocols.

·         The candidate will have experience with configuration management systems.

·         The candidate should have good trouble shooting skills, and the ability to analyze and organize field data.

·         The candidate should have intermediate programming skills (C, C++, etc) to assist in data analysis and processing.

·         The candidate will be required to work in an Agile Scrum environment as part of a team and will need good written and verbal communication skills.

 

 REQ2:

Role :                    Engineering Data Analytics Developer

Location:              Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

·         Engineering data analysis and algorithm development using MATLAB

·          Fine tuning of auto generation code for JAVA production deployment environment

·         Validate the analytic models both in development and production environment by generating the test cases - quantify accuracy misses, etc.

·          Work closely with the data science & other teams to discuss the interpretation of results and provide meaningful suggestions and enhancements

·          Support monitoring the analytics in the production environment and do necessary failure analysis if any and provide the necessary enhancement support.

 

Qualification:

·         Experience in Matlab programming

·         Experience in Minitab, R, JMP or similar tools

·         Secondary skills (optional) include Java technologies, SQL etc

·         Experience in power generation equipment or turbo-machinery equipment.

·         Engineering degree (Preferably Mechanical/Electronics with focus on control systems)

 

 REQ3:

Function	Engineering/Technology
Function Segment	Product Design and Development
Role Summary/Purpose	Design, develop, & oversee software, hardware and data-modeling specifications for Remote Monitoring/Diagnostics (RMD) & Analytics programs .
Essential Responsibilities	• Collaborate with both lead & senior engineers to design and model protocols and specification solutions and drive those decisions into the design of the product • Work across the entire software & hardware development lifecycle including high-level and detailed design, software and hardware implementation, verification, and maintenance activities • Author software and hardware design specifications/requirements • Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to verify the design and implementation • Collaborate with cross functional team members for site specific application solutions and infrastructure needs.
Qualifications/Requirements	• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related computer degree • 3+ years of hardware & software development • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time • Must be willing to work in Waukesha, WI facility .
Desired Characteristics	• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related computer degree • Working knowledge of Structured Data and XML • Experience with multi-threaded, concurrent systems • Python software development experience • Demonstrated strong software design abilities • Experience with configuration management tools (Subversion, GIT) • Experience in cellular & satellite network communication systems • Familiar with static and dynamic analysis tools and techniques • Experience with multiple scripting languages • Working knowledge of cloud solutions and web technologies • Working knowledge of engine controls systems, PLCs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting, discussing, and documenting technical information • Demonstrated effective problem solving capabilities • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within and across various teams
