The behaviour or style of life leading at the native place/state  differs when one moves out of his native place. Even in India this happens. Out of the State students admitted in a state are found to be wiser/smarter than the students  from the parent state. Even one experiences one's behaviour at the native village place differs from that  when one resides  in a big city with some goals in mind. Such positive changes  in behavioural pattern in India and abroad are bound to be there, not un-natural. This is but a natural process that takes place because of:

1. The person goes to foreign country with certain goals in mind like higher education, job openings, as a tourist, business purpose, etc.
2. Most of the Indians who are in foreign come from upper middle or elite classes or business community.
   
3. When one is on foreign land, one becomes more cautious about maintaining one's  and his/her nation-name and prestige.
4. In foreign countries rules are strictly observed , and if violated one is sure to be hooked, no mercy, no "Chalta Hai" .
5. As there is Government pressure on one side, on the other the social pressure. In India both are ineffective.
6. Once one is caught for such indiscipline behaviour on foreign soil, one is sure to lose the job or studies or travelling in a country. This is rightly quoted  as "crisis of survival"   by Professor Goelji.
7. In Indian culture there are some inbuilt key areas (values) like respecting teachers/elders/parents, hard work, habit of savings, obedience, respect for women, close family ties, etc. Moreover, one hears many wise things right from childhood like speak truth, help the needy, be honest, be a man/woman of character,  etc., but teaching such things do not match with the actual practice in Indian social arena.  This seed, when one is on foreign land, starts sprouting/blossoming for there is no gap between what is taught and what is practised.

These are some of the reasons that unfold the amazing behaviour pattern of Indians on foreign land. But....

Is it really amazing?

Does it not indicate that man is a slave of (social) environment?
