Death in the Manyu Family-Mr. Moses Akim Assam who immigrate from Italy to the United States is No More

THE COLD HAND OF DEATH HAS STRUCK OUR COMMUNITY AGAIN

On March 22, 2015, the call came for Moses A. Assam to eternity after a brief visit to the hospital for a routine check up. Moses had just immigrated from Italy with his family.
He left his wife and kids to the hospital on Friday 22, 2015 for a check up. The hospital discovered his kidney had failed. The situation immediately took a sad turn as he went into a cardiac arrest later on Saturday evening and by early Sunday morning he could not be revived through CPR.
His wife and two minor kids now seek help from the community to give Moses a noble fairwell. Please help the widow and her kids as they mourn and bid fairwell to Moses.
If you are here its not by mistake. The appeal to the public is to help raise funds so the family can sustain and get Moses back to Cameroon, his final resting place and country of origin. The family barely moved from Italy and were just getting settled in the US.
Moses was the only bread winner, his wife was unemployed and in the process of adjusting stastus and unfortunately things took a sad turn. Our goal is to raise 25,000 to cover all costs... Please every penny counts. No matter how small it will help the family. The wife, and the two minor kids.

THE COLD HAND OF DEATH HAS STRUCK OUR COMMUNITY AGAIN

My people, it has happened again! This time around, it has left much more tears, sorrow, pain and heart break on its trail.

This is the sad story of Moses Akim Assam, who suddenly passed away on March 22, 2015, at the young age of 47. Akim succumbed to the cold hands of death shortly after checking himself into the hospital for what he thought was a mere "feeling of unwell". Yes, that was it! So sudden. So tragic. In one minute, it was Moses not feeling well. Then in the next couple of minutes doctors said his kidneys had failed. Shortly after, Moses was cold. He was dead! Yes, MOSES A. ASSAM was pronounced dead as renal dialysis was on-going. Truly, Akim is no more!

Late Moses was a native of Otu Village (Eyumojock) in Manyu Division. He attended pharmacy school and graduated as a pharmacist in Italy, where he, his wife and two little children were living. A few months ago he decided to immigrate to the United States to seek for a share of the much sort for "American Dream", just like the rest of us. He decided to bring along his young family, in spite of all odds, as he could not imagine living apart from his beloved family even for a moment. Unfortunately the cold hands of death could not even let him situate himself. The evil DEATH snatched him too soon. Akim did not even have an opportunity to say goodnight to his family…,that very young family that he loved so much! Moses leaves behind a young widow who is still struggling to regularize her stay here in the USA, two little children, and family members who were expecting him to repatriate their own little share of goodies from America. It is very painful to imagine that these little children will never know the dad who loved them so much, because he left them so young. Besides, the last thing Moses'family back home could have imagined was to receive a casket containing the lifeless body of their pharmacist son whom they had hoped would soon settle down here in the USA, and then start to make their lives better, like other bush-fallers are doing. Now all such hopes have been crushed. Worse is the fact that as things stand today, repatriating Moses'remains back home to rest with his ancestors is not even guaranteed! Is it his two innocent little kids or his grieve-overwhelmed widow (who is yet to have a job) that will afford the means to send him home? Oh DEATH, how cruel you are?

My dear brothers and sisters, this is indeed a very difficult situation for this family. They need our help. If not for anything else, please consider the plight of these innocent children and their young mother that Moses has left behind. They need us. They need your help. They need our help. We cannot bring Moses back. But we can at least make it possible for his body to be taken home. This will bring some closure to his family. Anything from you will be appreciated, and God Almighty will surely bless you abundantly for your kindness. Please let's consult with our hearts and appeal to our conscience, while invoking the EASTER spirit at the same time. God will bless you. The Lord will replenish your purses/pockets/bank accounts, and you will feel happy with yourselves that you were there for these kids, their helpless mother, and their deceased father. Thank you all for your kindness.
