Experience with Front Office Systems like Beta, and Trading Execution applications (either desktop and or Citrix) * Testing Experience needed:
Functional Testing, UAT Support and Facilitation, Operation acceptance testing (back out planning), Post implementation validation, Defect Management. HPQC ALM 11.0, Test Data Analysis, Test Bed Management, Test ID Management * Testing artifacts experience: Master Test Plan, Test Effort Estimation, Test Coverage Matrix, Test Case Design, Test Scripts, Traceability Matrix, FST/UAT/OAT Signoffs. * Document management Sharepoint and or LAN * Testing methodology: Waterfall or Agile o Preferred areas of
knowledge: o Trade Authentication o Trade Validation o Trade Matching o Trade Execution o Trade Settlement o Repos and Buy/Sell Backs o Cash Sweeps o Trade Calculators o GUI Testing * Would like but not required - Automation Testing experience, MS Access and SQL Server Experience, and Managed Account Experience
REQUIRED:
*Strong analytical, quantitative & problem solving skills * In depth knowledge of business operations and processes with the ability to articulate these processes to others. * Experience with analysis planning, eliciting requirements, creating test cases, executing test cases, implementation planning, and implementation execution. * Experience with project methodology and project life cycles. * Understand and apply technology as it relates to the business * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments while being able to shift priorities to meet the current business environment needs. * Effective written communication skills to deliver articulate and concisely summarize information. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. * Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio * Project related experience with interactive marketing/web applications * Experience developing and revising business process models. *Working knowledge with the following applications: MS Visio and HP Quality Center
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop the user acceptance test plan and test conditions. * Develop and execute test plans and test cases on a scheduled and ad hoc basis. * Provide effective communication on test status, risks, and defects with Project owners and stakeholders. This will include the ability to concisely and accurately develop sustained relationships with internal business and technology partners. * Successfully manage relationships with vendors and other external partners as far as testing is concerned. * Proactively teach others in a specific area of expertise through knowledge sharing and mentorship. * Leverage and contribute to the development of best practices. * Perform occasional ad hoc tasks as needed.
