[MTC Global] [Institutional Member] FDP on Outcome Based Learning and Teaching at CET School of Management

Greetings from College of Engineering Trivandrum,

 

 A three day FDP on '' OUTCOME BASED LEARNING AND TEACHING '' is scheduled to start on June 18, 2015. The FDP emphasizes on various aspects of teaching effectiveness to be explored within the changing dynamics of educational environment. The three day programme is intended to give an introduction to the outcome based teaching and learning process where the main objective is creating paradigm shift in the mind set of a teacher in relation to his approach, activities and attitude to teaching. In continuation to the former FDP organized in the year 2014; this FDP would emphasize on the implementation for concrete results. Our emphasis is going to facilitate the teacher to realize this change and open up the thinking process to understand the avenues available for this purpose.

It has always been endeavours of CET School of Management, College of Engineering Trivandrum to create conducive environment that facilitate good and effective teaching learning process by implementing the best practices. Within this context this faculty development programme on "Outcome based learning and teaching" has been designed for the faculty members of various disciplines of study. It would serve as a platform to interact with senior panel of officials including NBA chairperson and Vice-chancellor of Kerala Technological University.  This year ''Best Teacher Award for the year 2014-2015" is also included as a part of the FDP. The winner would be announced and the award would be presented during the Valedictory programme on June 20, 2015. A leisure trip is arranged on June 20, 2015 to nearby tourist spots for all the participants after the valedictory programme.

 

The number of participants is limited to 30. Detailed information regarding the FDP, application for the Best Teacher Award and registration procedures is available in the college website, www.mba.cet.ac.in. Registration forms for participation in the FDP has to be routed through proper channel to the Director, Department of Business Administration, CET School of Management, College of Engineering Trivandrum-695016. The format of the form is attached along with this mail. Registration forms can also be downloaded from the website. Please find the complete details about the programme in the attached document.
