Job Titel:  Python Developer

Location: NYC,NY

Duration:  6+ months

F2F Interview is required for this position

Responsibilities:

•Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks

•Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals 

•Develop a complete rewrite of the reporting suite and for introducing precognitive error checking and intelligent auto-correct for OATS

•Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real world problems

Skills Required:

•Excellent C++ and/or python/scripting skills with 3+ years of experience

•Excellent system design for a software oriented architecture

•Strong analytical skills 

•Knowledge of programming with UNIX is essential

•Full life cycle development experience 

•Buy-side/Sell-side order management system experience is highly desired

•Experience with relational databases and multi-threaded programming, and knowledge of UNIX scripting languages is desired

•Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred

•Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack of being a team player
