Job Description:
· The Health Informatics & Technology Solutions Division is currently seeking a Senior-Level JavaScript Front-end Engineer to support our EPA client onsite in RTP, NC.
· As a member of our Agile SDLC team, the JavaScript front-end engineer is responsible for the design and development of web applications and individual components.
· Use of MVC and MVVM design patterns within an ExtJS framework will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of object oriented JavaScript 1.5 – 1.8
- Experience writing high-performance, reusable, cross-browser JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of web technologies and techniques (HTML4, HTML5, CSS, AJAX)
- Experience with consuming restful web services client side
- Experience with consuming JSON and XML data interchange formats.
- Experience with Automated Unit Testing
- Knowledge of performance debugging and benchmarking
- Experience with MVVM & MVC JavaScript frameworks (ExtJs is a huge plus)
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks (SASS or LESS)
- Experience with agile development methodologies and source control repositories
Technical Requirements:
· BS in Computer Science and 5+ years of related technical experience.
· Must have portfolio for review
Professional Skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-pace environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience with Git or Subversion version control
· Experience with Agile SCRUM
