I think there will be no need to reinvent the wheel. There is so much of content that has been tried, honed ,updated ready to use.Good powerful content for all levels based on strong behavioural psychology .
You will be interested?amazed to know that there are just two issues that make it impossible to put this in practice and both lie squarely at the door of the institution itself:
one, colleges want to pay peanuts and hence get the monkeys who read from a book about skills and vomit it on the students;the trainers have no clue to what they are saying
second: it is such a drama. We have a great excuse-just like poverty is written in the souls of Indians ,"no time" is a great excuse for not investing time and enrgy into making sure our students gain from developing tehmselves. It is as if otherwise we spend our 24 hours so fruitfully.
This attitude of a tamasha spills to the students too who think they have arrived and are a complete package the industry is just dying to recruit and there is nothing more to learn;till it sinks in six months later when they realise they are now cold fish no one wants and its too late.
I can share horror stories that can fill a library.

Dear All,
Let us take this opportunity to draft curriculum for "Bridging Programs for College Readiness"
- customized for graduate students taking admission to MBA Colleges
- for 10+2 students taking admission to BE/B.Tech Engineering Colleges
- for 10 / 10+ITI students taking admission to Polytechnic Diplomas.
Let us also draw the Blue Print of Future of Education:
- to redesign students' educational experiences,
- to reinvent institutional roles, and
- to reset the system so it better promotes student success.
I trust students will be well poised to compete with IIMs and IITians in terms of Industry-Readiness and Board-Readiness attracting world-class packages and campus recruitments.
With warm regards,

Subject: Re: [MTC Global] skills gap as per recruitersThe skills together called as Life skills is a global phenomena. It is a UN based list and has been shown to be relevant across cultures.I think ,for me atleast,we make a desperate attempt in the fourth year of college,to "teach" these skills, which of course cannot be taught. What we need is to inculcate it in the students: including it in their lessons for instance;raising questions of ethics and values say in case studies;not just take sides but be able to support their arguments;but more importantly to be able to understand themselves.G--
