Role:- SQL BI SSRS/SSIS developer
Duration:- 06+ Months Contract
Location:- Chicago, IL

Job Description:-

Healthcare client in downtown Chicago | IL  looking  for 3 Microsoft SQL BI developer resources, 2 SSRS and 1 SSRS with SSIS. 

Must know-

·         Data Warehouse Methodologies:

·         Kimball

·         Iman

·         Conceptually ETL vs ELT

·         Dimensions 

·         Slowly changing dimensions

·         Facts

·         Measures (of facts)

·         SSAS Tabular

·         Basic concept of the tabular x-velocity engine ( in memory database with cardinality dependent compression and measures in Dax that are calculated on the fly)

 

Reporting:

SSRS 

·         Particulars of table reports with groupings, subgroups, collapsed detail with subtotals

·         Concepts of pie , scatter, heat map and stacked reports 

·         Drill downs /click through especially say from a group on a table to a another report type for that slice/group 

·         Creating dynamic drop down for parameter selection to drive reports

·         Powerview interactive reports and the relationship between excel and powerview , the process of developing powerview workbooks and publishing them to Sharepoint using a local model vs server model

·         They must be intimately familiar with the developer ui in visual studio and the deployment/management of reports in SharePoint.

·         Understand "agile" aka iterative development process enough to explain it.
