Re: [camnetwork] How I miss the "old" Yahoo!

We've all be suffering in silence .....lamenting the good old days of Yahoo..and yahoogroups
!

..all because YAHOO had to move into new social media world where Facebook, Twitter have made "blogging fashionable"! Where Google is making money from data mining, where you you no longer have the option not to read an advert..(they found a way to force us to stop and watch those 39 second video clips)..,and more importantly, YAHOO conceded that TEXTING is what drives communication in this new social media environment. The more short "texting-like" exchanges MORE people make, they more the likelihood of them been EXPOSED to those forced advertisements. Gone should be the days for those rigid missives email exchanges.... Maybe that's why they are frustrating us in do many ways....they want everyone to do the brief "texting"...
.... It's even worse if you have to MODERATE yahoogroups like I do Free_Ambazonians! I no longer have the ZAPPING very easy to do "check-all" accept/delete function. YAHOO, instead has placed the three "moderating options" at the bottom of the initial mail. Yes at the very bottom not as logic would expect, at the top. To make things worse, this is CHAIN-LINKED to every reply this initial mail generates. That is, no matter how long a mail is, no matter how many responses that mail generates, the three moderating functions [✔️❌➖] still remain at the very bottom of this "initial mail"! What used to take less than a minute using the check all ZAPPING release key is gone. A single moderating release could take over five minutes. And if you encounter one of the very very long mails and worse if they generate replies you fingers will be tired from scrolling down. As for each mail (replies included) you will have to scroll to the bottom of the page before you see the moderating keys! We are talking hundred of pages.

I called YAHOO  and finally got through to talk to one of their techies and was told to get used to the new YAHOO......

Moderating yahoogroups has since become a very tedious job with other things one had control over now made so difficult or even suppressed. As for instance, I did not post that colorfully beaded half-faced picture on the cover of FREE AMBAZONIA. YAHOO did, and even though YAHOO claimed there is a function to edit that picture, it has never worked when I tried.

Several other functional complaints ...... Edwin ngang

Great.
Could someone tell me how to sort out my vital mail for 509.000 'stuff' posted into my Yahoo box?

Could someone tell me why these 'could be important yet unread mail' seems to be slowing down every new post I make?
Could someone tell me why my posts are repeated even when they ar clearly marked from my vantage point as in draft?
And, yahoo is cute, so

Is this happening only to me?

Acquaintances in my contact database, whom I write to and hear from regularly, are seeing their email to me post to my Spam, instead of to my Inbox. Why is Yahoo forcing us all to search every trash can in order to find our mail?

And, just as I thought it couldn't get worse, the "new" Yahoo system delivers mail from me to me into my Spam, not my Inbox. Bravo "new" Yahoo! If my email account is not verified as non-Spam sending to me, good luck with getting the "new" Yahoo to recognize any contacts.

If anyone at Yahoo can hear me, how about they gave some of us back that "old time religion"?
