Interesting input by Mr. Stephen. Indeed I've seen this in many corporates when someone new comes in and brings about huge changes, which sometimes also includes removing the old timers.
With respect to the subject of discussion; aren't there many colleges already in existence which are quite openly inclined towards a particular caste or religion?
I myself have seen many! Now if a person from different caste/religion was to go to such type of institutions and claim that they are partial, wouldn't it be against the common sense?
Yes professor, this is discrimination. And if the law were to consider this diamond export firm as against national integration, probably there are many many institutions that can be brought within this purview too. Unfortunately, I don't think turning towards law and expecting it to clear such discrimination is a bit long drawn and probably not a plausible solution.
If the question is, should we have to live with it? Then we can turn to neutrally aligned institutions and hope for a slow death of such institutions.
Logically, I don't see that happening either.

I fully agree with Goel Sir's observation. When a paper tiger is created which doesn't have the proper delivery mechanism...it is also possible that the same has been done with the intention and once the mission is accomplished, the paper tiger is eliminated....but smart cookies don't crumble so easily and raise the bogie of caste & religion to hold onto the position.Earlier in my tenure in Entertainment Sector, a total stranger to the industry was brought in as National Manager - Sales...he was roped in basically to remove old employee's who were eating into the company's profits and were following an old school of thought in their workings...naturally when this new comer started calling shots, the old employee's quit in disgust....then this National Manager himself was also thrown out by the management...their purpose of creating a new breed of sales force which could follow their diktat was achieved. But we are aware that there are many institutions which are community based and most of the top positions are held by people from the same community. Ample examples are there….IS IT NOT A DISCRIMINATION?
