OAG Implementation Specialist
Job Responsibilities
* Build and deploy Oracle API Gateway in various environments
* Work closely with systems architects and developers to build solutions around OAG use-cases
* Build tools, processes and associated documentation to manage OAG infrastructure
* Troubleshoot software and infrastructure problems and act as development escalation point for production issues
Skill Requirements
* 8+ years of experience in development and implementation of enterprise application integration solutions
* Must have at least 2 years of experience and deep technical skills in Oracle API Gateway technology and development
* Should be familiar with concepts like API Management, Content Management System and Workflow
* Must have Java, J2EE, CSS, HTML, JQuery, Soap UI, Security Gateway, XML, JSON, Oracle database SQL development skills
* Strong expertise on Oauth 2.0 , API Management and ReSTful API
* Ability to communicate and present to both technical and non-technical staff and management at all levels of an organization.
OAG Architect
Job Responsibilities
* Partner with the project team (shared accountability) and Senior Platform Architect on all Architecture related processes, activities and deliverables
* Engage additional architects (Security, Network, DB, etc.) as appropriate and lead team through resolution of architectural issues
* Work with client engagement and business teams to conceptualize a new application project and recommend technical resources and strategies for the project.
* Accountable for project scope, operations, successful and timely completion of all tasks/projects under matrix control. The ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems, which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives, is critical to the success of this role.
Skill Requirements
* Hands on working experience with API Gateway technologies (Oracle API Gateway, Layer7, Mashery, Mulesoft) encompassing design, development, implementation, integrated testing, cutover activities,, including understanding of integration points with other platforms
* Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns and Problem solving abilities w.r.t. Message Sequencing, Correlation, Queuing. Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution.
* Knowledge of SOA/API Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
* Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings.
* Fluency in Java development and web service standards such as Java Spring Framework, WSSE and technologies (XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, UDDI and JSON) is a must.
* Good knowledge of SOA architecture, infrastructure design and development, strong understanding of relational databases; experience working with different adaptors and JMS queues required.
* Implementation experience in using public API's like (AWS, Google etc.), including web service API management framework
