Job Description:
Lead Software Engineer
Chassis/Vehicle dynamics background is desired, but not required. Really this person needs to be a Software Engineer first. They will have to lead and execute, focused on the user interface and database, as noted. Clients have and intend a separate person to do the hardcore physics programming.
Experience and Skills Required
· B.S. in Computer Science or greater
· Complete software engineering (production level) knowledge and experience from start to finish. The entire product development cycle.
· Strong knowledge and experience with .Net, WPF, C#, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, XML Programming Languages, Java, C++, SQL Server and SQL Server Light
· Ten years or more software engineering production level experience including a leadership role
Experience Desired
· Motorsports and/or high performance and results focused environment
o Achievement of continual deliverables on time at a high performance and quality level
o Continuous improvement
o Teamwork/collaborative
o Efficient
· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or greater
· Knowledge and experience in Matlab, Python
· Vehicle engineering and vehicle dynamics knowledge
Travel
· 3-4 days per month to customer locations and/or the race track
