This mail is confusing. "But many times, the performance of students may not have any co-relation with the performance of students." - What does this sentence mean?
Faculty assessment through students' feedback is the best theoretically; but never the right one because students never take this exercise seriously. A better method would be a combination of the following.
a) Self assessment by the faculty on each subject taught in a semester.
b) HOD's assessment of the faculty.
c) Students' performance in University exam.
d) A feedback from students from students who attended atleast 60% of the classes in the subject.
