Job Title : Business Objects Developer 10 + Years of experience

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Locals Preferred)

Duration : 6+ Months Contract 

Start : ASAP

Interview: Telephonic

 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Work on front, middle or back office platforms for leading investment banks

·         Involvement in projects such as building new trade capture systems or real time, multithreaded risk portals

·         Collaborate with bright enthusiastic consultants solving real world problems

 

Required Experience:

·         10+ years of experience in programming and software development, data analysis, testing, requirements definition and management, and systems design

·         Exposure to Capital Markets, including quantitative finance, valuation methodologies, cross asset product knowledge, risk management, regulatory, settlement, trading, accounting, market and reference data management

·         Experience with agile development methodologies

·         Background in object-oriented design and analysis, software specification including UML diagramming, and data modeling .

 

Skills:

Ø  Business Objects XI

Ø  Oracle/Sybase IQ database

Ø  PL/SQL

Ø  Crystal Reports

Ø  Composite Software

Ø  UNIX scripting ETL tools such as Ab Initio and Informatica

Ø  Previous consulting/investment banking experience preferred

Ø  Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical people
