Job description:
Mandatory Skills:
• Android DDMS, iOS Instruments
• Any proxy tool: Charles proxy, Wireshark or Fiddler
• Performance analysis of mobile apps or web apps and Web services
Desired Skills:
• Gather mobile performance test requirements
• Develop mobile performance test plan
• Install Android SDK, XCode
• Profile Android performance using DDMS
• Profile iOS performance using Instruments
• Conduct stress tests using Monkey Tool
• Execute mobile performance tests – interruption testing, menu testing
• Knowledgeable in any proxy tool – Charles Proxy or Wireshark or Fiddler
• Identify performance issues on the device side (threads, CPU, battery, memory etc.)
• Communicate the plan, strategy and daily status to stakeholders
• Review the work done at offshore and coordinate progress
