Requirement:
Position: Mobile Automation Tester
Location: - Detroit MI
Position Type: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
· Excellent communication skills
· 4-6 years using QTP/selenium; Expert skills in QTP/UFT and mobile automation testing
· Strong in writing and executing GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases for MobileApps.
· Ability to Develop and Maintain test scripts on various mobile plugins using existing frameworks
· Experience in API Middleware / Services Testing
· Knowledge on Testing mobile app on Emulators/simulators and Ability to integrate QTP scripts into existing framework
· Ability to manage, maintain and troubleshoot automation scripts for mobile application(native/web/hybrid)
· Ability to query both the front and back end and make sure the values match using a high level language such as MS SQL and/or T-SQL
· Experience in Mobile Application testing includes UI, Functional/Non-functional, Regression tests, Device compatibility tests, Performance tests, Usability testing, language and localization tests
· Should be able to raise defects and track in ALM/Jira or any other popular Test Management Tools
· Ability to analyze the application and achieve maximum modularity in automation code
· Knowledge and full understanding of the QTP Object Repository and controls
· Custom Library development in QTP/UFT/Selenium
· Ability to work with a group of automation engineers and manual testers
Key Skill:
· 4+ years' experience in automating mobile app test cases with Quick Test Pro/UFT/Selenium
· Experience in Testing Mobile apps on various operating systems e.g. iOS, RIM, Android, Symbian, Windows, J2ME etc using various devices e.g. Apple, Blackberry, Nokia ,Android etc
· Experience with automated testing tools Perfecto, Jmeter, QTP, Mobile Labs, See Test or any Mobile Automation Tool and Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall models
· Excellent Knowledge in VB Script and Exposure to any programming languages such as C/C++/Java is a must.
Nice to Have Skills:
· Background in Automotive Domain
· Open Source mobile automation knowledge would be a would be an added advantage
· Prior developmental skills or from a developmental background will be preferred
