Client is actively seeking an experienced Citrix Administrator for a technically challenging contract role with our client in Vernon Hills, IL.
-Provide (Level 3) support for exiting Citrix systems involving XenApp and XenDesktop.
-Support & Experience with XenServer and Systems Hosted in a Virtual environment
-Support for Large Global deployments with XenApp and XenDesktop
-Provide design support for application processing requirements.
-Adept with large Citrix installations and deployments systems
-Provide technical support in engineered systems
-Manage activities of internal/external resources within the group or service delivery area.
-Support end-to-end Citrix connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
-Day-to-day technical and administrative support for XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.6 & 7.6 environments. (Level 2&3 )
-Handle high severity Citrix issues involving Regional and Global access.
-Manage daily work load through Remedy Ticketing system.
-Adhere to, and work within the confines of IT policies, standards and procedures.
-Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity and capacity metrics. (on Demand)
-Determine/manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
-Interact regularly with Team members & Customers to understand their business while anticipating their IT requirements.
-Support Service deliverables and develop improvement plans as needed.
-Support Global operational teams with all Citrix related issues.
-Support and Facilitate strategic global Infrastructure/Services initiatives.
-Strong cross-functional communications and interpersonal skills.
-Participate in periodic on-call Rotation
