Job Title: SAP Business Analyst (with Purchasing experience)

Location: St. Paul, MN

Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary

One of our growing Minneapolis / St. Paul clients has a need for an Lead SAP Business Analyst (Purchasing) to optimize the purchasing processes through the implementation life cycle of the SAP Purchasing MM module.  This is a permanent or contract to hire opportunity with a high caliber team of professionals. 

Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements and lead the creation of technology solutions in the Purchasing space.
• Guide business partners through business case development for new applications or functionality changes - including cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis.
• Support the SAP Purchasing MM module - manage ticket requests, prioritize and resolve issues.
• Perform analysis and gather requirements for the integration with other SAP modules.
• Create test plans, test cases and perform functional testing.
• Provide new user training as requested.  

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst – implementing and supporting SAP Purchasing modules/solutions (MM-PR, Ariba, PO, etc).
• Deep experience and understanding of the purchasing process and demonstrated experience with process improvement. 
• 3+ full life cycle implementations of Purchasing MM module highly preferred.
