RE: [MTC Global] IIPM

I learned a lesson or two early in life  from  very forthright Government Officers:

1.       There have been, are and will remain about 15/20% such person in the Government jobs who are sincere to their duties and they keep working incognito. These are the people who have kept the country afloat and will continue to do so even against worst of the circumstances.

2.       Cultural change does not come overnight or by changing nomenclatures or the policies or the names. It takes a whole new generation to bring about the change.

I think we can look for the answers to our questions in above two lessons.

Virendra Goel

Indian scenario:

  1. Wherefrom India will get honest personnel?
  2. Even if some are there, what is the probability of their occupying the posts"
  3. Even if, some occupy such key posts, are they strong enough to swim the current?
  4. Are they be allowed to function?
  5. We are the best in documentation generation and lip services and worst in implementation and. right action.
  6. During the last 67 years we are heading from bad to worst.
  7. In India there is a strong belief that those employed in public sector or semi-public sector, the salary we are getting for occupying the chair and not for work.

In such a scenario, where even the education sector - the sector that is expected to get affected the last- is trapped in financial and academic corruption, we need to work very hard and be ready for sacrifices and heavy costs.

Dear all,
I am also in full agreement with Varuan Arya. Indeed, most of the
problems in higher education are creation of these disreputed
regulatory bodies. For instance, the accreditation system is
governed by many unethical factors adopted by many of its
membres. Hence, a revamping of these institutions is the need of
the hour.  The Government should try to man these institutions
with people of high integrity and morality to set the standard.
