Re: [MTC Global] Is Judiciary in our country - Blind/Dying?

I certainly agree with the views of Stephen Narayanan. The entire system has become corrupt, including judiciary. We see what is happening in the case of Karnataka Lokayukta. But one thing what comes to my mind is that even the news papers cannot be believed. Most of the news papers in India are owned by politicians and foreign stake holders. Politicians will have vested interest to blow up things. Foreign stakeholders have interest in destabilizing India (read Breaking India by Rajiv Malhotra). It is difficult to judge things basing on news reports and watching TV. You may read the below candid confession of the former Chief of Staff of Newyork Times. You can also read how process of thought of an individual is sought to diverted by the western countries( read the attachment published in Rutherford News recently)

Dr Nagaraja Rao.
John Swinton, the former Chief of Staff at the NEW YORK TIMES

was asked to give a toast before the prestigious New York Press Club in 1953.  Below is his candid confession [it's worth noting that Swinton was called "The Dean of His Profession" by other newsmen, who admired him greatly].

"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job.

"If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell the country for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press. We are the tools and vassals of the rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
Is this what the word 'prestitutes' meant?????

The Vyapam Scam of Madhya Pradesh has claimed more than 47 lives now with 3 deaths occuring in the last 48 hours. The Governor, State Home Minister, the Chief Minister and a host of BJP functionaries including Union Home Minister are doing lip service without conceding to the oppositions demand for a CBI probe and everyone seems to be ascribing the deaths to either suicide or natural cause whereas the pattern and the link is clear. A young woman Police Trainee who is about to begin her career would not commit suicide. A Dean of a College who was found dead in a hotel in Delhi, his death is being passed off as due to alcohol and medicine mix which turned fatal. One BJP MP went to the extent of ridiculing the death of an investigating journalist saying: Who is a better journalist than me....that is the arrogance of Kailash Vijaywargiya standing next to the CM who was also finding it an amusing joke.
Question is: Aren't the esteemed honorary members of Judiciary watching News? Aren't they concerned where the law and order is heading in our country?
I wouldn't be surprised that if a referendum were to be held on status of judiciary...a majority would vote for no confidence in Judiciary.
Comments - For and Against...sharing of views Open & Welcome as I may not be right but it's just my views.
