Yes, this is a grave problem of data piracy for business promotion adopted by may of the institutions and business establishments. We very frequently get unwanted business promotion calls and messages, disturbing the mind set of receivers. We appreciate an urgent need to curb this. In universities also admission and test data are sold unauthorized by their staffs for students and applicants. I further agree with Res. Virendra Goel ji for his view that the legal action has its limitations.

The biggest challenge today is Education Privacy. The database of students appearing for various competitive exams are sold at hefty prices. Some examination bodies which conduct MAT and other exams also sell officially database of students. Faculty database are sold. There are companies which are doing business only in this domain.

 

Do you think that there should an Education Privacy Policy to deter such practices?
