Re: Who said Union with R of C was " INCONCLUSIVE".

Can anyone lay hands on the AAC 1 Mount Mary Special Edition of Cameroon Post newspaper?
Lead story:
How Nice to be Home Again.
Home Again!
Home Again!

Aaron, it is often said that pictures speak loader than words. The picture tells a lot more than we can see with the naked eye.A careful analysis of the whole picture can reveal a lot about what the participants at the Foumban talks intended. The words "HOW NICE IT IS TO MEET OUR BROTHERS" would suggest that it was nothing other than a greeting. The delegations were meeting apparently for the first time. It is clearly written in English suggesting that the British Southern Cameroons' delegation was simply offering a greeting to La Republique du Cameroun delegation.
In the middle and in smaller characters it is written: "Vive le Cameroun unifie". The spelling of Cameroun here would suggest that it originated from La Republique du Cameroun's delegation. Above all, the message talks of "Cameroun unifie" or Cameroon united. It does not say Cameroun reunifie. The question therefore is since when did la Republique started seeing the coming together of the two parties as a reunification?
At the bottom (footnote) the person who posted the picture describes the picture as "The Southern Cameroon's delegation talks on reunification". That footnote must the handwork of a younger citizen of British Southern Cameroonian who probably does not seem to understand the message contained in the picture he/she just posted.

George,

They were saying how nice it was to MEET not JOIN with our brothers.

Southern Cameroons has since been MEETING them not JOINING.

Thank God that picture is there for posterity.

Our leaders at the forefront should better make a bold use of the
historique litearature
