Short Project Description: 

HP is implementing NGTS (Next Generation Tax System) for WA State Employment Security Department (ESD). This system supports the processing and billing of unemployment insurance tax and benefits paid to recipients. 

Position Details:
HP ES State and Local Government are seeking a .NET Developer in the Vancouver, WA. This resource will need to provide daily support to existing web applications. They will also need to participate in the full life cycle of development (define, develop, test, install, and maintain) of existing applications as well as new initiatives. The Web Developer must be able to manage development activities from the planning phase through the implementation phase. This position will require participation in the design and planning of enhancements to existing applications and development of new applications. He or she will interface with other team members, management, and end-users on a regular basis. 


Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED 
This person must have the following skills: 

Visual Studio 2008, 2010 (ASP.Net, VB.Net, Web Services, Java Script, AJAX and CSS) 
C# Programming 
• Programming security best practices 
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming techniques 
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 
• .Net Framework 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0 
• Visual Studio Team Foundation 
SQL Server 2005 and 2008 developer level understanding 
• SQL Server Management Studio 2005 and 2008 
• SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 and 2008 
LINQ 
• Application Modeling 
• Proficient in Database concepts and Data modeling 
• Highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 
• Capability to perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance and support of complex applications and processes.
