Duration: 3-6 + Months Contract
Job description:
The client is looking to bring on a QA Performance Engineer for a contract that will last 3-6 months – the contract could be extended after this project ends, but the candidate would have to relocate/travel to wherever the next project takes place. They are looking for someone with strong scripting experience, HP Load Runner experience and strong experience with APM tools.
Experience Level:
Mid to Senior
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience with scripting
Minimum 5 years of experience with HP Load Runner or similar tools
Heavy and Custom Scripting
Parameterization
Validations
Correlations
Minimum 3 years working with APM tools
Deep understanding of reporting and analysis from APM solutions
Experience monitoring, analyzing, debugging and reporting performance issues
Understanding of application architectures
5 years direct experience as a test engineer for major applications
Working knowledge of programming languages and/or scripting languages
Responsibilities
Working directly with client and managing performance projects
Performance Test Planning
Developing and maintaining performance test scripts
Executing performance tests as well as interpreting, analyzing, and validating test results to ensure that all requirements are properly met
Analyzing system and application metrics using different monitoring solutions including APM solutions
Debug and communicate performance issues back to development team
Creating custom performance reports for projects, which include analysis from performance testing solution along with analysis from APM solutions
Working with performance engineering peers
