Windows Systems Administrators
SAN FRANCISCO, California

We are seeking a systems admin with five years or more experienced working in a large production environment with Windows Server (2008 and 2012), Active Directory (2008), and RedHat Linux skills. Experience with application/middle-tier components such as Java, Apache, WebSphere, Tomcat, PHP desired.
Project will be for six month and based out of San Francisco.
Additional requirements:
Familiarity with IBM Big Fix would be a plus (but not a requirement) as would Duo Security (multi-factor authentication) and ServiceNow (ITSM).
Understanding of ITIL framework including change control and CMDB is a must.
These are some of the activities that the system admin will be working on:
- Systems remediation. Many of these represent configuration issues or application / middle-tier components (e.g. Java, Apache, WebSphere, Tomcat, PHP, etc.) as opposed to operating system level patching.
- Binding Linux systems to AD to enforce password policy uniformly and simplify dual factor authentication.
- Transition to IBM BigFix for patching servers.
- Expand rollout of dual factor authentication to servers.
- ServiceNow auto discovery and integrating BigFix with the CMDB.
