Role: AGILE coach
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 6-12 months contract
The mode of the interview is phone/skype
Essential Job Functions:
∙ Assist and provide expertise in the organizational change required for the Agile Transformation
∙ Provide training on Agile practices
∙ Ensure cross functional coordination (analysts, developers, and testers) is occurring early and often.
∙ Maintain and publish agile metrics (e.g. velocity and burn-down)
∙ Coach, mentor, and evangelize agile best practices across the organization.
∙ Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Developers with regards to the application of Agile practices
∙ Facilitate Inspect and Adapt workshops
∙ Implement relevant Metrics
∙ Assist with Agile Technical Delivery practices
∙ Work with Testing Strategist and Technical Tester to introduce automated testing into the SDLC process
∙ Provide support for development of a sustainable Agile Center of Excellence and internal Agile Communities of Practice
Requirements:
∙ Experience with or at a minimum training in Leading Agile
∙ Scrum Master Certification (CSM) and a minimum 5 years practical experience
∙ Strong professional experience and a proven understanding with iterative development, incremental software delivery, and the "why" behind it
∙ Demonstrated knowledge with the principles behind emergent requirements
∙ Expertise in making continuous improvement changes, especially as it relates to software development
∙ Demonstrated knowledge of test driven development and the virtues of unit testing
