Dear Sir / madam,

The promoters of Poornima Group, the largest education group in Rajasthan, ventured into their latest prestigious project by establishing a University in Jaipur, namely, Poornima University in the year 2012 under the Rajasthan Private Universities Act. The University presently has six schools i.e. School of Engineering & Technology, School of Architecture & Planning, School of Management, School of Commerce, School of Basic & Applied Sciences and School of Design as well as a Centre of Research. The state-of-the-art research facilities and modern amenities like well stocked libraries along with project centers create a conducive environment for teaching - learning process. The University is committed to bring about perceptible change in society with its innovative and equitable practices and systems.

The Poornima University campus is spread over an area of 32.67 acres. On-campus residences are provided for students and staff. The present strength of students studying in B. Tech (6 streams). B. Arch, B. Des. (2 streams), BCA (3 streams), BFA, BBA, B.Com, MBA, M. Tech. and Ph. D. is more than 2,700. About 600 students reside in hostels on the University campus.

I am very glad to inform you that the Second Convocation of the University will be held on Saturday, 5^th September, 2015 at 10.00 a.m. at the University Grounds. Padma Bhushan Shri D.R. Mehta, Former Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India has graciously consented to be the Chief Guest of the Convocation.

 

The awardees at the second convocation will include the M.Tech., MBA, BBA, B.Com. and BCA students. The number of students will be around 140. Besides them, one Ph.D. degree may also be awarded on the occasion.
