We should all be very careful, at this point in time, to jump to the conclusion that this eminent soldier of Banyang extraction would go out of his way to kill himself. His brilliant biography and resume make me think otherwise.
His death should be thoroughly investigated. There have been rumors, rife in the air, of him being at loggerheads with his immediate boss over the disbursement of huge funds entrusted in his care for the construction of military infrastructure in the North West. He had resisted attempts to play dirty with those allocations and his immediate bosses have not been happy with him. Who knows whether, on that fateful morning, someone didn't way lay him in his office, shoot him and fake suicide? Remember, that is Caneroon. No sir, the Colonel's profile doesn't convince me, he can be suicidal. Not all!!!
