Description :

This TS3 position will be joining an Agile Scrum team in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the State of Iowa. OCIO is committed to utilizing modern technologies and methodologies in order to deliver secure, high-quality technical solutions to its business partners. The Software Developer will be joining a project that is already in process. The project consists of a new web application written in .Net, SQL Server, Entity Framework, MVC and Bootstrap. Experience in these technologies, in addition to agile scrum experience, are required for the position and will be heavily tested during the interview process. Also expected of this position are training, coaching and guiding fellow scrum team developers.

 

Experience with C#, ASP.NET= Required:7 Years

Experience with Entity Framework and MVC= Required: 5 Years

Experience with HTML/ CSS, JavaScript and jQuery= Required: 5 Years

Experience with Bootstrap= Required: 1 Years

Experience with automated unit testing= Required: 3 Years

Experience developing on an agile scrum team= Required: 4 Years Experience

T-SQL language skills working with MS SQL= Required: 3 Years

Experience with test-driven development (TDD)= Required: 3 Years

Strong communications skills and the ability to work closely with a team: Desired

Ability to read, understand, and create design documents: Desired

 

Technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks, databases:

Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers:
