Nganyuo Ebai No matter how intelligent or persuasive your position is, no one has the liberty to throw insults and innuendos. First the British Cameroons and French Cameroun were Trust Territories following the Trusteeship Agreement of 1946,13th December andv respectively under the Administering Authorities of UK and France. The Administering Authorities, according to the TA were responsible to give periodic reports on the development of their Trustees to the General Assembly of the UN. These territories known as the British Cameroons was nurtured and groomed in the Anglo Saxon tradition, just like America were some have taken refuge in order to enjoy the inherent values denied them in their land of origin. Without a sovereign state with defined laws, tribalism will still be a dangerous weapon today as it was widely and inappropriately used in the yesteryears in the process of nation building. The solution lies in strong and clear constitutional provisions that will respect indigenous and resident rights. The first solution to tribalism is to identify, accept and deal with it. We are seeing and touching the new forms of tribalism in today's mainstream politics but it can't suppress or stop the common good of the BSC territory.
This generation must take its responsibility and create a nation and orientation not tribalism, eventhough each clan, village, town and city will be ruled by their various constituents. The example of the the SDF and the LDP are good examples. Even though the later outrightly declared for the Southern Cameroons Cause, it cannot be supported by the overwhelming residents like the SDF that is supported by residents in the Southern Zone. Its understandable that the two zones have different geopolitical constructions, the coastal and grassland with cultural orientations. The cultural diversity makes us unique and can be a source of strength than weakness as our detractors will wish it to be. The people of the British Southern/Northern Cameroons were and remain victims of transnational conspiracies, as a result of Britain breaching the Trusteeship Agreement of the UN
NB: not a bilateral treaty between Her Majesty's Government of Great Britain and the small British Cameroons.
The Trusteeship Agreement defined the objectives, rights and limitations of the Administering Authority, and preparing and guiding legally, culturally, politically, socially, educationally and economically the Trust Territory/ies to full independence and sovereignty. Any thing short of these tantamount to the breach or violations of the Trusteeship Agreement (A legal document). I'll not belabour the points raised by Counsel Alex Ndive Lisinge.
We can boast about our history and people and not be begging to be part of a group that undermines our very foundation, that's why America goes to war, often engineered by arms merchants warriors of GOP! Traced all America's foreign exported wars and count how many attacks has been launched because the American values are tempered with? We are merely doing our patriotic duty to uphold the inherent right endowed by the Trusteeship Agreement under review.
Since 1993, the SCNC as the constitutional mouthpiece of the people of former Trust territory of British Southern Cameroons (as recognised by acts of the UN resolutions of 1608 (due to space constraints more can be found on UN Publications basic facts about Cameroons under British Administration), have sort for an amicable solution and resolution of this problems of illegality after the unilateral and unconstitutional abrogation of the Federal government in 1972 and the secession of La République from the United Republic of Cameroon on January 1984, when she reverted to the name suppressed at the Union (Art.1/2of the 1961 federal constitution).
NB: Now one component can't be united, only two components and more can form a Union). The illegality was ably and immediately challenged by the West Cameroon elites, by law practitioners led by eminent Barrister Fon Gorji Dinka, in a landmark case pitting 'Ambazobia Republic' against La Republique du Cameroun in 1985 at Bamenda High Court.
The regime backed by military and political advice from France ignored the rulings and exil its leadership. The SDF launching was prompted by this urge to resolve the political impass, but for the derailment of the cause to rule the Republic as Joseph did in Egypt, where a slave became a king. The persistent and systematic assimilationist policies of our inherited values sparked the Students uprising in 1990 at least as far as the Anglophone was concerned. The casualties in Yaoundé was evidenced by the targeting anglophones. The educational standards was compromised by francophones ministers. The West Cameroon elites in Yaoundé and Douala created the Northwest and Southwest Elites Association to champion a return to legality meaning the pre 1972 Two states federation. The abolition of which had no legal standing. The so called Unitary "1972 Green Revolution" fairy tale, was a scheme to blindfold the people using force majeur through the visibly prolonged state of emergency embodied in the anti terrorism law of 1962 and partly scraped by the 1990 laws of association. The people were obliged and forced to respect unjust and unrepresented laws from Yaoundé, the de juré holder of the sovereignty of the Southern Cameroons. To impress on their annexationist plans, series of strategiesv were adopted at all stratum.
The economic prowess of the state was either misappropriated or destroyed, viz marketing board, Powercam, wiped out air, rail, road and sea transport systems, the CDC, (still a gigantic slave haven in the 21st century), PWD, bankrupts commercial and construction companies, Tea farms, environment etc. Remember
France and the US are signatories to most international conventions including the UN Charter and we have the right to expose any human rights abuses, if we can proof our case diligently and within international law by any means possible, and if we can't resolve the matter amicably. Geopolitics didn't stop South Sudan, Eritrea, East Timor, etc to be recognised as independent states and not the British Southern Cameroons. NB: Since 2012, there are a handful of non-self governing territories of the former Trusteeship regime still under review in the 4th committee or the Decolonisation Committee of the UN and base on the UN resolutions Granting independence to non-self governing and Trust territories of 1947.
NB: Only the people have the final say as the custodian of sovereignty, to be exercise through popular referendum as per the occupationist's Constitution or outright Plebiscite to be organised by the UN in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts before settling for peace talks.
We challenge any one including the government of La Republique or her agents to accept the unconditional challenge and allow for free mobilisation and organisation of the people and stop the illegal arrests of armless Southern Cameroonians /Ambazonians.

Jonathan Awasom Sir, I have no time to waste persuading you or anyone who has already made up their mind . I do appreciate your interest but I see things differently because this is our generation. You folks are living in the past. My only responsibility is to make the case for a way forward into the future because many of you are stuck in the past. I think some of you who lived and felt the presence of the Founding generation of Cameroon forget that the sons and daughters you gave birth to are now adults with independent minds of their own. Some of you still think that we are babies. No, we are not. What you are writing about is a clear indication to me that you tend to believe that UN in the 19th century is the same now but a lot has changed and may be for the worst. How many times has the U.S defied international bodies to do whatever they deem fit for their best interest? It was NATO that destroyed Kaddaffi and not UN ! Today we have an ISIS and Boko Haram. We did not have such crazy people 20 years ago and while we have not had a third world war, come to think of the world war I and 2 , millions of people were killed both the military and civilians across Europe. Other wars sparked by the spirit of nationalism and self-determination killed many people in Latin America. The Spanish civil war in the 1930s was disastrous. During American territorial expansion between 1800-1900, Spanish-America War that led to the capture of Florida was no joke. So, too was the Mexican-American war in 1812 that led to the seizure of California and Texas from Mexico . Do you recall that in 1776 America had only 13 colonies? Have you ever asked yourselves how they expanded to become 50 states under a great political system? The fought wars and intentionally use force to expand because it was crucial for their place in the world as a sovereign nation. The point I am making is that we have to be sensitive to the geopolitical realities of our time and be sure that we are not wasting our time to call shots like a barking dog with no teeth or the ability to bite. UN will never listen to you folks because you have no teeth to bite. In 1947 Britain withdraw their administration of Palestine that was handed to her under the League of Nation Mandate system. The Jews mobilized themselves with the support of the UNO who stepped up after Britain abandoned them to enable them carry out the Israeli Independence in 1948. That led to Palestine declaring war against Israel but they prevailed because Israel was backed by the U.S and UNO. Cameroon is not the first victim in the hands of Britain. Remember that there was a time in history when Britain was chewing more than they could swallow as a super power. All that began to change when American Declared their own independence in 1776 and began to aspire to superpower status. However, you must understand that France supported the American Declaration for Independence just as America backed Israel. Therefore, don't expect America to go against France in Cameroon anytime soon unless France is threatening their own interest in West Africa including Cameroon. It is important for you folks to understand the cozy relationship between U.S and France before you dabble blindly in your quest for separation because it is not possible practically except you convince U.S why and how. You allude to SDF stupidity governed by an illiterate who has become a sell out. Please, you can do better. The world is divided into geopolitical spheres of influence at the center of which is economic diplomacy inspired by insatiable economic interests. There is a different political science and foreign diplomatic approach to all these and I believe that the past has nothing to do today. You can only learn and explore ways to move on. I have no respect for the follies of the past. Nobody is going to listen to all your UNO stories about UN Trusteeship because neither Israeli nor America ever paid attention to any international organization. So, why are you dying and crying behind the UN if you can take action without them? So, you think UNO will give you yo what you want like the free sunshine and rain? Pease, Independence is granted once and we had Independence in 1961 while the French had theirs in 1960, What ever transpired resulting in the confusion between 1960 and 1961 is not really our business today. We cannot be made to correct that which is not possible to correct. We need to enjoy our lives under a Federal liberal capitalism. Thanks Jonathan Awasom
