Prof. Sreedhar Murthy's offer of sending the final results of his proposed study to the respondents is, in my humble opinion, very truly commendable. I am, therefore, surely going to respond,

It's certainly heartening to note that an academician is giving an upfront assurance to the concerned audience and the fellow members of the fraternity to share the findings of planned study with them all. This is very rarely done. My guess is that the researchers are shy and/or scared of sharing the findings because in most cases the outcome is worthless. This, I am told, unfortunately applies even to doctoral research in our country. 

We should encourage research which contributes to social good and expands the frontiers of knowledge. Everything else is simply sham/shame and a mere waste of time. I am extremely sorry if I have offended any one and/or used some harsh words. But, we must uphold and respect truth. Satyameva Jayathe !
