Position: QA Test Analyst with Python /Performance testing

Location: Austin, TX ( USC/GC )

Duration : 6+ Months

Start: ASAP

 

Job Description
Day to Day: 
• Working on Identity project – server side API
• Writing test automation using bash scripts and python
• Test planning, working with dev team (standard SDET)

Why should candidates be interested:
• This team supports the Identity system controls authentication for Rackspace public cloud. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Solid Python skills – Min 2 years
- Test experience – planning, test case, execution, test case design
- Strong communication (writing defects/communicating w/ devs)

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- JIRA 
- Some type of Identity Authentication System
- API testing versus GUI testing
- Experience with performance testing

EDUCATION:
- BS Computer Science or Equivalent experience
