· Job Description: Design, and implementation of customized technical virtualization solutions for clients both in premise and public cloud environments.
· Develop complete cloud based solutions taking into account sizing, infrastructure, data protection, disaster recovery, and application requirements and hybrid access to premise base enterprise systems.
· Provide troubleshooting expertise for virtualization performance and other issues
· Integrate appropriate security and information assurance controls into solutions to ensure accreditation based on appropriate regulatory requirements that the client operates under.
Required Skills
· Solution Delivery expertise in preferably in AWS services
· Demonstrable Enterprise Architecture planning and design skills
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Good analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills
· Excellent problem solving skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
· The candidate must have 7 or more years of experience in Linux based operating systems
· The candidate should have a balance of knowledge in Operating systems, Network, Security, with some programming or scripting experience.
oThe candidate must have 4+ years' working experience in programming or scripting languages
oAbility to gather customer requirements and translate those requirements into short and long term
oThe candidate should have in depth understanding of authentication and authorization services; e.g.; SAML, LDAP, AD, ADFS, & the backend associated APIs that connect various messaging, cloud and social platforms.
oAbility to understand and support network, system and application security hardening, penetration testing, continuous monitoring, and support of policy.
· Ability to support network and system risk assessment and to support network and system security planning and documentation.
· Ability to support clustering and Load Balanced Production RHEL Environment experience is required
· Ability to support enterprise database environments
- Configuring Linux in a virtual environment
- Monitoring and providing system design recommendations for large scale performance of applications running in a virtual environment.
- Installing and testing new versions of application products.
- Support for custom software development groups building and testing applications that run on Linux.
- Writing documentation and procedures associated with system administration.
- Managing and testing backup and recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot networking, authentication and application performance issues.
· Cross with VMWare
· Storage – IBM and TSM
· Must be hands on
· Willing to work weekends in some cases – team player
