Role: Network Security Consultant (Master level) - Cincinnati, OH (on-site, 40 hrs/wk, standard shift 8-5; may be required to work some non-standard hours during this 6 month period)

 

Job Description - The Network Security Consultant will be responsible for the design and service creation of premise and cloud based security services used to protect the enterprise network and users (employees, contractors) from threats and operational problems quickly with solutions and reporting tools. The technologies include SSL VPN, IPSEC, GRE tunnel creation and management. Firewalls, IPS, web proxy, DLP and policy.

 

Skills Required:

• Cisco CCNP in Security or demonstrable equivalent experience.

• Juniper JNCIP-SEC certification or demonstrable equivalent experience

• Detailed understanding of managed security solutions such as firewalls, IPS, web proxy and DLP, especially those deployed for large multi-national enterprise customers

• Detailed understanding of firewall configuration and deployment

• Detailed understanding of web proxy configuration and deployment

• Detailed understanding of remote access devices and methods

 

Tasks:

• To design and provide Tier 4 (engineering) support for Security solutions to a large enterprise customer.

• Produce high level design documentation, network diagrams and Bills of Materials

• Oversee deployment of the designed solution including the resolution of any technical issues.

• Produce technical documentation, processes and training materials

• Enforce quality by auditing the adherence to design implementation by field installers

• Drive innovation within the defined service tower (cost management, technology evolution or revolution)

• Support customer meetings and presentations as required.
