Role: Senior SAP ABAP EDI Technical Consultant 
Location: Chicago, Illinois 


Experis supports a large client in Chicago, Illinois in need of a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with EDI experience. As part of the EDI Support team, this individual must have the ability to perform the following general responsibilities: 

Plan testing to challenge variable aspects of a new EDI transaction map, and then execute tests accordingly. 
Research and recommend solutions for potential interface problems. 
Support EDI processes including, tracking documents, looking up passwords, and investigating translation failures. 
Respond to EDI client problems and inquiries in person, by telephone and by e-mail. 
Assist in building a technical environment and interfaces between EDI and external trading partners, under limited supervision. 
At least 3 years EDI support experience 
At least 1 year experience working in a pharmaceutical, bio-pharma, or medical device environment 
Good Documentation Practices and Change Control concepts
