The car interior heats up due to the greenhouse effect. Glass and tapestries within a confined space act together as a heat accumulator. One easy and very effective tip to keep temperature bearable is just lowering at least two windows just some millimetres, each at one side, to allow ventilation and a breeze cooling down with fresh air while you leave.
