Role: Technical Analyst [Asset Management Technician]

Location: Washington, DC

Description:

The Asset technician is responsible for maintaining, tracking and managing the current technology inventory and assignments, including but not limited to the PC assets as well as PC accessories deployed to all WBG employees.

Must have proven experience in Hardware asset management. 

Perform daily updates to the asset database used at WBG country/HQ office. Work with WBG IT team to reconcile PC assignments in SAP on a regular basis. Ensure PC asset assignments to staff in the WBG PC asset database are accurate, tracked, monitored, regularly updated and maintained. 

Take inventory and reconcile records of deployed assets and send timely reports to Bank's IT Manager. 

Provide necessary asset reports to Bank's IT Manager on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Provide regular reports, related to the asset management.

• In-depth understanding of information systems technology to include common computer applications, operating systems, hardware, networks, and messaging systems of the types used at WBG country/HQ Office.

• Advanced / proficient skills in using Excel and Powerpoint.

• Strong Hands-on experience in the area of Hardware Asset Management techniques.

• Should be flexible to work in shifts and weekends on need basis in close co-ordination with onsite and offshore team as well as with end users across the globe, in a multi-vendor / service provider environment

• Should be able to work independently
