6 Months CTH :: SQL DBA Required at TX :: GC/USC Only

SQL DBA

Location – Dallas, TX

Duration – 6 months contract to hire

Client – Greyhound

 

Must be GC or USC

Requirements:

• 4 + years in SQL Server Database Administration experience.
• Strongly prefer Sybase DBA Administration experience.
• 4 years of Database Development experience. 
• Experience supporting multiple servers and databases on 24 X 7 environments.
• Experience responding to users and developer issues.
• Prefer experience managing the installation and configuration of various versions of Sybase and SQL server (Sybase ASE 15.7 ESD#1, MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008).
• Prefer experience and expertise working with Sybase Replication Server.
• Prefer experience with multiple operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6, MS Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012) and Sybase/MS SQL Server RDBMS systems.
• Experience with SSIS (DTS to SSIS conversions highly possible); DTS packages and SSAS (including cubes); and SSRS.
• Strong T-SQL skills.
• Experience with high-availability/clustering.
• Experience with various Database Tools: Visual Studio, Dbartisan, Sybase Central, SQL Programmer, DB Visualizer, Visio, Oracle Enterprise Manager, ARS Remedy, Sybase Direct Connect, Exceed, TSQL, ISQL, BCP, Replication Server Manager, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, Exceed, putty, Toad, Erwin.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; strongly prefer Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science).

Prefer relevant technology certification.
