Re: [MTC Global] USED vs. LOVED

To win over the anger is  one step of the ladder of human evolution. Anger arises due to many reasons like ignorance, a feeling of insult, fear, greed, fear of loosing something, to establish dominance etc.,  There were many rishis known as angry gurus like Durvas.

What are the mental and physical changes that take place at the time of becoming angry? Blood flow increases, heart beat rate increases, reasoning/thinking power stops, a person becomes totally blind to understand pros and cons of anger, possibility of heart attack, trembling, etc.

Anger can be reduced to zero level using such techniques as:

  1. Imprint on the (subconscious) mind the adverse effects of anger so that mentally anger is not allowed to emerge (most preferred but hard to achieve). Many people tried to make Sant Eknath to see him angry but failed, he bathed himself many times as one tried to make him impure while returning after taking his morning bath in the Godavari River at Paithan, one gentleman climbed on the back of Eknath's wife while she was service the food to guests, Ekanth simply said take care of your son on your back, the man felt shy! ,
  2. Count 100 numbers beginning from 100 ending with one.
  3. Nama-smaran (Reciting some God's name).
  4. Breath control: focus on the air flow during inhaling and exhaling.
  5. Meditation.
  6. Adopt Yama, Niyama and Pranayama.
  7. Possess love, respect and compassion for others. Yesterday I visited many temples of Chakradharsmai, the founder of Mahanubhava sect, in the 12th Century. One old temple is at Savaldbara, a small village in the hills of Ajanta, where Swamiji had  a stay. He Saw two cubs of tigers, he started playing with them, and when the tigress came and saw somebody was playing with her kids she became angry and attacked Swamiji, who was unmoved, the tigress came near to Swamiji and fell oh his feet. Swamiji with love asked her to take away her kids. This is the power of love. Even today there are many kids who can play with any animal especially dogs and cats.

Subject:[MTC Global] USED vs. LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car, his 6 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car.

In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times;
not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father...

with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

The man was so hurt and speechless;
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.

Devastated by his own actions.....
sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;

the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.

The next day that man committed suicide. . .Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life.....
