Primary Responsibilities
JD: Coordinate with cross functional security specialists from products, services and IT to manage high priority information security initiatives for the Information Security Committee. VPN, firewall, oversee the implementations of site security and the decommissioning activities. Lead the development and maintenance of project plan, communication plan, change management plan, budget and contract management.
· Maintain regular project status reporting cycle to project stakeholders detailing project issues, scope, budget and schedule. Maintain direct and open lines of communication to the Project Sponsor, superiors, and project team to ensure the project(s) remains focused on the business security objectives.
· Manage third party relationships relating to additional security services as required (e.g., penetration testing, security assessments, etc.).
· Identify security gaps with current processes and controls and facilitate the closure of high priority gaps.
· Document results of security risk analyses and formally present to management.
· Assess IT network and security architectures as they relate to managing identities and access privileges, delegated administration models, workflow and access control models.
· Assist with the development of transition plans as security projects move from development to production and ongoing maintenance.
· Understand existing policies, processes and controls with respect to IT security and information security across the organization
· Understand current regulatory environment and related implications to security management compliance.
· Education: A four (4) year undergraduate degree (IT or related field preferred) or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects ranging from mid-size to large corporate IT initiatives
· Experience managing concurrent, full life-cycle project implementations in Information Security is preferred
· Certificate/License: Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate highly preferred;
· Information Security certifications a plus
· Knowledge of relevant IT standards and norms (e.g., ISO27001, ISO 17799, ITIL, COBIT) a plus
· Proficiency in MS Project / Excel / Word and PowerPoint is required
