JOB DESCRIPTION

Required/Preferred Certifications: Pega SSA or LSA certification preferred 

Actively seeking a Pega Senior System Architect to join our team as we implement an End-to-End workflow Solution using the Pega platform and Case Management framework. The Pega SSA will need to have a solid background and experience developing software on the Pega platform. This person will be relied upon as a subject matter expert of the technology, its capabilities, and best practices. 

Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

• Design and implement new Pega applications 
• Mentor and support in house client employees to cultivate and sustain Pega expertise within the organization. 
• Integrate Pega applications with external APIs, web services, and legacy data sources 
• Estimate implementation level of effort based upon requirements and design 
• Divide large, complex tasks into actionable, iterative subtasks 

Education and Experience: 

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree 
• At least 8 years' experience supporting software development efforts 
• At least 5 years' specific experience as a Pega SSA 
• Hands-on experience with Pega 7 
• Pega CSSA or CLSA preferred 

Required Skills and Competencies: 

• Proven experience developing enterprise-class Pega applications 
• Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment 
• Experience creating Pega workflows, defining rules, creating classes, developing templates, streams, data pages, activities, and UI's in PRPC 
• Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features 
• Experience implementing client specific reusable frameworks
• Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation skills 
• Exceptional communication skills in English both written and oral 

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
