POSITION: Lead DevOps/Linux Engineer

Job Overview:

Interview Details: Phone screen than Face to Face- Only Locals, SKYPE NOT POSSIBLE

 

LOOKING FOR:  A DevOps Engineer with strong Linux and Stroage experience. Cloud/Chef/Jenkins a big plus.

 

•Strong infrastructure background with hands on experience across a wide range of disciplines encompassing a minimum of 6 of the following areas:  Cloud,  SDN, Chef, Servers, Operating Systems; Linux, Windows,  Storage; SAN, NAS, Telecommunication; Voice/Data,  Physical Connectivity, Load Balancers, Data Centers, and PCs; desktops/laptops/mobile devices.

 

•Strong working knowledge of virtual and physical environments.  Demonstrated ability to choose the best technology to accomplish a project's objectives. 

 

•Demonstrated understanding of system resiliency, redundancy, failovers and disaster recovery, 

 

•Strong working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure disciplines, platforms, tools and software including:  Unix Shell Scripting, Active Directory, IT Security, Middleware, Batch, File Transfer, and Performance Tuning.

 

•Working database (Oracle) knowledge skills including database design, development (packages, functions, procedures).  Understanding of data warehousing and OLTP system knowledge from database/ETL development perspective.

 

•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience to drive results through consensus building.

 

•Strong problem resolution and troubleshooting skills.

 

•Ability to develop technical design using Visio and interpret and relate the business requirements to technical components.

 

•Can describe the overall function of several components in the technical platform

 

•Demonstrated very strong level of technical expertise both within own area of

responsibility and other IT domains

 

•Has comprehensive understanding of full development lifecycle and is actively involved in all pha
