Re: [lilolaphako] FW: [Cameroonforum] Public Notice - No to any Protest.

Dr. Kimah,

One can question the wisdom of calling for protests. The reasons you raise here are among the most ridiculous against the protests; most especially from a medical doctor. You are not alone. Prof Mbu as Director of Family Health in the Ministry of Public Health came out with a very laughable attempt at putting a lid on what is known of Cameroun; this incident notwithstanding.

Given AIDS/HIV and Ebola, the general tendency in Cameroun is to avoid having a wake with the corpse  (seeming public policy). Prof Mbu seemed indeferent to medical practitioners at Nylon District Hospital not caring that a corpse arrived there in the trunk of a taxi and taken away in same to Laquentinie; following which, the very taxi could pick up a passanger and have the food load of the passanger in the taxi trunk that just repeatedly carried a corpse. You here seem to say such medical negligence is not worthy of public outrage.

Given that Boko Haram is presently being contained in the north; thanks to Obama's 300 soldiers; are you and Prof Mbu not concern that the 'famous' Laquintinie by this episode seems open to anyone walking in and doing anything thinkable? The better patriot is the one that brings to light that which must be checked before irreparable harm takes hold. It seems for you and Prof Mbu, the better patriot is one that pretends all is well until things are bad beyond repairs (interesting patriotism the Camerounese way). The world knows more about what is regrettable of Cameroun than a public protest can add to the knowing.

Dear Community,

There is an ongoing email and text message  inviting Cameroon  Nationals in Western Countries to take to the streets as symbolic gesture  against the issues surrounding medical practices in Douala.

Let us  in Diaspora do not get ourselves involved .

Those who want to fight Biya , please go  to Cameroon..

Please  don't spoil our bad name.

We are  damaging the image of our country and this   could impact those seeking for jobs, applying for entry clearance visa etc.

Please note that I am not a CPDM militant   nor sympathiser.

Best Wishes.
