Re: The Salvation Gospel: The Four Great Commissions of the Bible. Prophet Ntemfac N. Ofege. Christ as You Ministries, Cameroon

The Papal Interview Continues:

Pope Benedict reminds us of the formerly indispensable Catholic conviction of the possibility of the loss of eternal salvation, or that people go to hell: The missionaries of the 16th century were convinced that the unbaptized person is lost forever.

After the [Second Vatican] Council, this conviction was definitely abandoned. The result was a two-sided, deep crisis. Without this attentiveness to the salvation, the Faith loses its foundation. He also speaks of a "profound evolution of Dogma" with respect to the Dogma that there is no salvation outside the Church. This purported change of dogma has led, in the pope's eyes, to a loss of the missionary zeal in the Church – "any motivation for a future missionary commitment was removed."

There are FOUR GREAT COMMISSIONS in the Bible:

In fact each of the Four Gospels ends with a commission.

And the commission is not given unto a select group of people called "missionaries."

A commission is given to every Christ-ian, every believer or every disciple of Christ.

First Commission in Matthew

Mt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Second Commission in Mark

Mk. 16: 14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.  15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Third Commission in Luke.

Lu 24: 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Fourth Commission in John.

Jo 20: 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ) is the most important – if not the only – work of the church of God, if not mankind.

Preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ) is for every Christ-ian.

Preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ) – or should be - the prime concern or directive of every Christ-ian less you becoming blood guilty or guilty of the soul you did not save.

And, all power in Heaven and on Earth has been given unto the Lord Jesus and he in turn gives each and every believer that POWER to preach, to teach, to witness, to heal in his name!

Receive ye the Holy Ghostin Jesus Name!

That the same power that he filled and fulled me with now fill and full thee for the work that we must do!

Friend:

How exactly can the Pope Emeritus talk of to a "a loss of the missionary zeal in the Church" and the removal of the motivation for a present and future missionary commitment under the circumstances?

Friend:

There and five and only five recognized ministry in the church of God.

This ministry is a choosing and a calling by the Lord Jesus himself for a specific purpose - the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Perfecting means equipping, teaching, empowering, the saints or the believers for the work of preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ).

See it for yourself:

Eph 4: 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.  9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

The Bible recognizes the following five-fold ministry in the church of God.

There are only five.

1. Apostles.

2. Prophets.

3. Evangelists

4. Pastors

5. Teachers

In that order.

Call yourself what you want; there are only five.

Notice that the work of ministry ie preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ) is for the saints!

Preaching, teaching, witnessing, healing, in short salvation (winning souls and leading people to Christ) is for every Christ-ian.

Salvation is free.

Mt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Salvation is like unto a man who discovered a bottomless pot of free gold:

If you were that man would you not dispense of this gold freely?

Would you hoard it or keep the gold for yourself alone?

How would you feel if you are in heaven, rejoicing over the benefits of eternal life when you cousin or your neighbourhood best friend is not saved and with you?

Freely ye have received, freely give.

Receive ye the Holy Ghostin Jesus Name!

That these words that I speak even now energize and empower thee to missionary work and ministry and the commission of the Messiah, even Yeshua-ha-Mashiach in his very own precious name!

For:

O Glory, after creating us ages ago, a major word of prophesy, spoken to the entire executive of heaven – the Father said it to the Son and the Holy Ghost – is now coming to pass.

God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Ghost are now making us – the believers - in their very own image, after their very own likeness.

Through the agency of Christ in you, with you, for you through you and as you!

The Lord has sworn it and he will not relent.

Ps 119:106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

He HAS PERFORMED!

For when my God says he will: he has!

In this we have CONFIDENCE:

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Dear Sir,

Greetings from the Christ as you Ministries in Cameroon.

It would be a great pleasure to have a conversation with you on the concerns you raise in your post once I finish expounding on the incredible blasphemies in and within this interview granted by the former pope.

Permit me point out these initial misconstructions in your Bible quotes which misquotes do not make for clarity but rather engender confusion.

Whereas the Bible is precise:

The quote in the Second of Timothy is:

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Study.

And this type of STUDYING is not abstract.

The study above demands of all who intend to "divide" the Word of Truth to settle down in the very presence of the Revealer of all Truths, I name the Holy Ghost.

Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

You see to have great issues with the Epistles, so much so that you boldly and outrageously state that the New Testament is "not Scripture?"

Here is your exact quote

"This means that the New Testament is not scripture…."

Could you please answer the following questions for my edification?

1.    What was the Old Testament and who were the signatories?

2.    When was the Old Testament signed?

3.    Who was the Testator of the Old Testament?

4.    What is the New Testament and who were the signatories?

5.    When was the New Testament signed?

6.    Who was the Testator of the New Testament?

7.    Read this from Jeremiah 31: 31. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Why, according to you, did the Lord God promised a New Covenant? Has that New Covenant come? What are its tenets?

8.    What is the fault that the Lord God found with the Old Testament?

9.    Is the Old Testament a Covenant of Law or of Faith?

10.Is the New Testament a Covenant of Faith or of Law?

11. What, according to you could be the reason behind the fact that the Messiah was born through the breaking of the law on marriage? Is God a law-breaker? What was he trying to teach us?

12.What was the first miracle of Jesus? How and why did this miracle break the law?

13. Why are the virtues of God superior to the laws of God?

14. What do you understand by the HAVING ABOLISHED in the following passage "Ep 2: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: this…

15.What do you understand by |redeemed from the curse of the law" in this verse "Ga 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"

16.Why does the Bible *Romans 14:23b) define sin as everything or "whatsoever is not of faith?" Ro 14: 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

17. What does this Scripture mean to you? " Ro 8:1. 1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. ETC

Like I say, we will keep up this conversation.

Grace and Peace

Prophet Ntemfac Nchwete Ofege

APOSTLE PAUL: HIS TEACHINGS AND PERSONALITY

"15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." (2ndTimothy 2:15).

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Preamble:

The Major argument people make in defiance of GOD's divine injunctions linger on Apostle Paul's epistles. Before delving into this topic , let's make it clear that Apostle Paul was neither against any of GOD's laws, nor did he teach that they are no longer operational.

In Romans 3:4, Apostle Paul wrote, "4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." " (Romans 3:4). What Apostle Paul emphasized here is that, whenever the word of the ALMIGHTY comes to head –on-collision with the word of any man (for instance, like Apostle Paul himself), let GOD's word be true, that is, let GOD's word (LAW) supersede and let everyone else's opinions, traditions, thoughts and interpretations be a lie and as a result must be set aside. It is just as simple as that, because a reasonable person does not argue with HIS Maker. Apostle Paul taught that the wisdom of GOD is higher than that of men, for the verse says, "25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength." (1stCorinthians 1:25). Prophet ISAIAH was inspired to write "8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. 9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts." ( Isaiah 55:8-9). Therefore let us seek for the wisdom and the thought of GOD, so that we can rightly comprehend HIS word and apply HIS truth in our lives.

Introduction:
The topic Apostle Paul will be approached through the following sub-topics:

(1) The teachings of Apostle Paul:

Apostle Paul taught them that: "13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous."(Romans 2:13). Again, he said, "31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law." (Romans 3:31). Also in Romans 7:12, Apostle Paul stated that: "12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.".

Did Apostle Paul teach the Hebrews that the renewed covenant did away with the Laws of GOD? Most assuredly NOT! Apostle Paul taught GOD's truth about this Covenant saying in Hebrews 8:10, "10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "

Also in Hebrews 10:16 he repeats the same stand, "16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them ".

Then most assuredly, Apostle Paul did not teach any different doctrine. For he said so in the verse of the bible, "9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:9).

Apparently, Apostle Paul was not alone in his crusade for Sound Doctrine; other Apostles joined him in his advocacy for the Law of GOD. Look at what James said, "10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10). Also John had this to say, "24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us."(1 John 3:24). This proves that all the Apostles of JESUS conformed to the teachings of JESUS, for the verse says "19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."(Matthew 5:19).

From the above biblical facts, it can be concluded that JESUS and all his Apostles, including Paul who later joined the team after the death, resurrection and ascension of JESUS, taught that GOD's Laws, statutes, and judgements are to be kept and none shall be done away with. It is only those who keep GOD's laws that will have the right to eternal life as shown herein, "14 Blessed are those who do His commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city."(Revelation 22:14)

(2) The personality of Apostle Paul:

It is noteworthy to mention that the personality and character of a person may be evaluated through the following ways; (i) what he says of himself, (ii) what the people around him say of him, and (iii) how influential he is in the society. It is undoubtedly clear to a discerning mind that Apostle Paul was never contrary to GOD's Law, but for further clarity, let us examine the personality of Apostle Paul through the factors enumerated above.

1st Corinthians 9:20-22 opens this conversation with regard to the true personality of Apostle Paul. For the verse says, "20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who arew without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some." Please note that the above was what Apostle Paul said of himself.

Another thing that Apostle Paul said about himself could be read from 2nd Corinthians 12:16 which states, "16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning!". Other translations use the word "guile" which means "tricks". Being crafty or cunning simply means tricky; to swindle or manipulate people's minds; being clever in using deceitful and indirect methods of approach in speeches and deeds, etc, to get what one wants. This is a great revelation of the person known as Apostle Paul, a crafty fellow, who took people by deceit. But why would Apostle Paul have such dubious personality? The answer may be found in the multiple assassinations and persecutions he wrought on the believers of the early church, notably to the likes of Stephen in Acts 7.

According to the records of the bible, we have further insight about the personality of Apostle Paul, whose name was Saul, for the verse says, "3 As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing themto prison." (Acts 8:3). It is believed that the havoc he created in scattering the early church, mad GOD to heave upon him the burden of the evangelical ministry, including the ministries of those whom he cut short their lives by assassination. Saddled with this burden, he devised a deceitful and crafty means to accomplish his multiple missionary goals, which he had very little time to discharge and thus, complicated the lives of people with his epistles of missionary journeys and his opinion about JESUS, whom he never met in his life-time, except in a vision when he fell down from a horse and sustained a head injury which made him blind. (See Acts 9:1-9, 22:4-11, 26:13-18).

No wonder in view of this strange personality of Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter warned in his epistle and said, "15 and considerthat the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable peopletwist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.17 You therefore, beloved, since you know thisbeforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; " (2 Peter 3:15-17). The passage we just read contains four major points which must be treated in their merits in order to enhance a comprehensive understanding of the warning of Apostle Peter. He spoke about those that are "unlearned" and "unstable"; also about the difference between the "scripture" and the "epistles". And finally, he stressed on the need to guard against being carried away by "the errors of the wicked".Let us begin.

What does it mean to be unlearned?
Have you ever listened to Lawyers or Barristers address themselves? They usually refer to one another as "Learned Men". They hardly regard persons of other noble professions, such as Doctors, Engineers, Accountants, Scientists, etc…, as "Learned Men". Why is this? The "Learned Men" are persons schooled and tutored in the issue of the law of the land, hence to them anyone who does not know the law is "unlearned".
Similarly, Apostle Peter observed that the people who "twist the scriptures to their own destruction" are unlearned and illiterates in the laws of GOD. These people usually begin their bible studies from the book of Matthew, approach the Law of GOD, recorded in the Old Testament with a terrible attitude, brandishing them with stereotypes such as "mosaic laws", "Nailed to the cross", "passed away", "it is finished", "Abrogated", "Not fit for human observance and compliance", etc…Apostle Peter's kind advice to people reading the epistles of Apostle Paul is to first of all be grounded in the Laws of GOD, so that they are "note led away by the errors of the wicked", and can quickly discern between what is the word of GOD and the opinion of men.

What does it mean to be unstable?

Apostle Peter also used the term, "unstable". This term refers to people who because of double mindedness have not drawn closer to the word of GOD as taught in the Holy Scripture. This group of people exhibit two specific characteristics: (1) They are people who go to any place called a church only in search for signs and wonders and not for Sound Doctrine. (2) They are also people who seek for popular opinion, such as, "What does the majority say?"Such people do not know that GOD does not usually work with "majority". His way is hidden and JESUS said that "only those who seek shall truly find it"(Matthew 7:8). GOD Himself declared the only place one can find HIS ways, for the verse says, "7 He made known His ways to Moses,His acts to the children of Israel." (Psalm 103:7). The Psalmist would later recount, "20 He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!" (Psalm 147:20). Apostle Paul affirmed to the Romans this position of advantage which GOD had given to the Jews from the foundation of the earth and he said, "Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God." (Romans 3:2).

Apostle James, in his own epistle, lent his great voice to the definition of the word "unstable". In James 1:8 he said, "8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.". Also in James 4:8 he said, "8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, youdouble-minded.". He then concludes "7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.". Amen (See James 4:7).

Epistle versus Scripture:

Another point which Apostle Peter made in his advice is the issue of "People using the epistles to twist or wrestle with the scripture". Epistles are pieces of letters written by a Missionary on his evangelical journey. It is written based on the wisdom of the Missionary, in his attempt to address issues that are pertinent to the newly found congregation. Scripture is a sacred document written out of inspiration of GOD. For the verse says, "16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2nd Timothy 3:16-17). So it is clear that epistles are not written by the inspiration of GOD but according to the wisdom that GOD gave unto the Missionary.

It is also noteworthy to mention that the scripture is not the entire bible because JESUS was alive and indeed in all the New Testament, it was usually noted that they would refer to the scriptures with words like, "It is written", or "That the scripture might be fulfilled".This means that the New Testament is not scripture but rather refers to it. The New Testament was written and compiled 70years after the death, resurrection and ascension of JESUS. This is to say that they were not available and thus not in use in the days of JESUS or any of the Apostles, including Apostle Paul. If you closely study the New Testament, you will see that it contains the activities and stories of characters, which can only be available for an authentic and comprehensive publication after they might have concluded their work on earth. For instance the death of JESUS as recorded in the New Testament would only be accurate after JESUS had lived and died, then the writers of the gospels will have something to write about. You cannot write about the death of someone while the person is still alive. So it is clear that what was available to JESUS and HIS Apostles was the scripture and it is profitable even to our generation for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.

Evidence which shows that the New Testament is not the scripture as found in the statement of JESUS in Matthew 22:29 and it says, "29Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.". Again, while JESUS was tempted in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights, the deceiver approached him and requested that he command stones into bread but JESUS answered and said, "4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."". (Matthew 4:4). A further search on that statement of JESUS reveals that he spoke about what was written in the scripture in Deuteronomy 8:3. No wonder he used the word, "it is written". Likewise in Mark 12:10 we read of another statement of JESUS which says, "10 Haven't you read this passage of Scripture: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;". Again this statement was taken from the scripture in the Old Testament in the book of Psalms 118:22. Also in the book of Mark 15:28, speaking about the death of JESUS, it says, "28 So the Scripture was fulfilledwhich says, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."". This statement was taken from the book of Prophet Isaiah 53:12. JESUS and HIS Apostles quoted the scripture.
Let us make a few references of the use of the scripture by Apostles Peter and Paul, In 1st Peter 2:6 we read, "6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,"Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."". This quote by Apostle Peter was taken from Isaiah 28:16. In Acts 17:2 and 11, we read "2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,…. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.".

What does the word error mean?
As observed in the warning of Apostle Peter in 2ndPeter 3:17, he said "17 You therefore, beloved, since you know thisbeforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;". Here it is observed that the word "error"was used; therefore let us find out what the scriptural meaning of error is. JESUS in his own words told us what errors mean and he said, "29 Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.". (Matthew 22:29). He also echoed the same interpretation of error in the book of Mark 12:24 and said "24 Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?".Error occurs when one is ignorant of what the scripture says because in the scripture is contained the power (authority) of GOD as handed over to Israel.
Apostle Peter spoke about the dangers of false teachers who would not speak the truth, rather would preach damnable heresies that would bring upon them swift destruction. In his words he said that these false teachers will "2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.".(2nd Peter 2:1-3). He therefore warned us to escape from their errors, for the verse says, "18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.". (2nd Peter 2:18). Apostle John in his epistle spoke about the difference between truth and error and said, "6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.". (1st John 4:6). This is clear that those who do not listen to the scripture ignore the spirit of the truth and as a result accept and preach with the spirit of error which leads them to unrighteousness.
Having seen the meaning of error from the New Testament perspective through the teachings of JESUS, Apostle Peter and Apostle Paul, one can also see that they are in consonance with what the Scripture (Old Testament) teaches on the same subject matter. In the narrative of the death of Uzzah the son of Abinadab, who, while transporting the Ark of Covenant, put forth his hand to prevent it from falling off the cart, the Scripture states, "7Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God. ". (2nd Samuel 6:7). Through proper analysis, we see that the Law of GOD was transgressed because, the Law states that the handling of the Ark of the Covenant shall be by priests alone (see Numbers 4:15). But Uzzah, who was not a Priest, even though out of sympathy, showed irreverence for the Law of GOD, either on the grounds of sympathy, empathy, sentiment, omission, or commission.
Prophet Jeremiah was inspired to speak against idolatry and he said, "15 They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish.". (Jeremiah 10:15, 51:18). Here, the Prophet made it clear that anything that is contrary to the word of GOD is the work of error and in the time when GOD will visit the world, the works of error shall perish.

Conclusion:
The use of epistles, which are the words of men to twist and wrestle with the scripture, which is the word of GOD, is the characteristics of unlearned and unstable men being led away by the errors of the wicked unto their own destruction. JESUS validated the scripture and said so even after HIS death and resurrection. For the verse says, "44 Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and thePsalms concerning Me." ". (Luke 24:44). We find the books of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms in the Scripture which is contained in the Old Testament and not in the New Testament, and JESUS spoke extensively to his audience through the scripture. When he appeared to the two men on the road to Emmaus, JESUs said, "25 Then He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!... 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.". (Luke 24:25, 27). It is said that Christians claim to be followers of JESUS but have failed to follow him in the way of the scripture which he advocated together with his Apostles. Apostle Peter further advised and said, "29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men.". (Acts 5:29).
It is noteworthy to conclude with the fact that the intention of an error is to bring about deception. A young Prophet of GOD, who was sent to prophesy against King Jeroboam of Israel, when he built an alter unto an idol in Bethel, was deceived by an older Prophet, who convinced him with his false prophesy against the specific instructions which GOD had given him, and this led to the destruction of the young promising Prophet (see 1stKings 13). Please note that GOD was silent when this deception was going on because HE had already warned the young Prophet against these things. Similarly, the Serpent deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden while GOD kept quiet, because HE had already warned them, and yet they allowed themselves to be deceived and were thus led away by "the error of the wicked". Deception comes when you are convinced to leave the scripture, which is the way and word of GOD and rely solely on the epistles, which are the opinions and letters written by men according to their wisdom.
John had a revelation about how Satan was cast down and he deceived the whole world. For the verse says, "9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.". (Revelations 12:9). Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Thessalonians wrote that this Devil that has been cast down now sits in the Temple of GOD with jhis great deception, for the verse says, "3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sinis revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as Godin the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.". (2ndThessalonians 2:3-4).
Here we are warned that this great Deceiver has entered the churches and oppose the original worship system which GOD had instituted from the beginning which are recorded in the scripture, and replaced it with false doctrinal worship which is not confirmed in the scripture. This is why when a true believer cross-check what happens in the churches with what the bible says, he runs into a hell of confusion. All the festivals of GOD have been swapped(changed) with Roman pagan festivities. Likewise, the day which the LORD has made to be the Sabbath day by eternal covenant has equally been changed to the day of the worship of the sun-god. No wonder Prophet Isaiah was inspired and he lamented saying, "12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! Howyou are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!". (Isaiah 14:12). Once again recall the faithful word of Apostle Paul which says, "4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speakand prevail when you judge."". (Romans 3:4). Therefore, when any word of the epistle does not conform and confirm the scripture, it must be set aside for GOD must be true and every other opinion of men, a lie. Take heed that no one deceives

The Papal Interview Continues:

After the [Second Vatican] Council, this conviction was definitely abandoned. The result was a two-sided, deep crisis. Without this attentiveness to the salvation, the Faith loses its foundation. He also speaks of a "profound evolution of Dogma" with respect to the Dogma that there is no salvation outside the Church. This purported change of dogma has led, in the pope's eyes, to a loss of the missionary zeal in the Church – "any motivation for a future missionary commitment was removed."

The Salvation Gospel: Salvation and Eternal Life through BELIEF and Confession in Faith.

I have said that the Bible explains itself with regards to the false premise and manmade concepts like dogmas, encyclicals, etc. especially with regards to even foundation lessons like the divine meaning of the church of God and then salvation.

The Church is not a building.

Neither is it a name.

The Bible speaks of the Church of God which church is made up of all who believe and are saved or all who are called out – the ecclesia.

It does not matter where you are and how you found Christ.

What matters is that you are saved.

The Pope Emeritus thinks otherwise; wrongly and falsely.

Hear him.

Even less acceptable, Benedict said, "is the solution proposed by the pluralistic theories of religion, for which all religions, each in its own way, would be ways of salvation and, in this sense, must be considered equivalent in their effects."

Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Do you know the meaning of "whosoever?"

Whosoever means everybody!

Whosoever means ALL!

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Not whosoever is a prominent member of the Holy Roman Baptist Pentecostal Apostolic Full Gospel Evangelical Only True Church of God.

The salvation of my God is free, given unto everybody; Romans, Greek, Gentiles, Chinese, Nigerian, Blue, Black, Red, Pink, etc.

Ro 10: 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

What right has anybody then to restrict that salvation to his or her erroneous conception of the Church of God?

Ro 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Christ died for us:

Us all.

Friend:

Do you desire salvation?

Do you desire eternal life?

Do this:

4 STEPS to God

http://www.4stepstogod.com/

Let me show us the essential passages of the Bible that deal with eternal life and salvation, which Scriptures are seldom preached in religious organizations.

Roman 10:8-13. 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Hence:

Being saved and benefitting fully from the fruit of Salvation is in Christ, not in religion, in a religion nor about a religion.

For Christ-ianity is not a religion.

Christ-ianity is a relationship with God through the indwelling Christ.

Being saved and befitting fully from the empowerment of salvation is not of man and for man to decide.

Our salvation is from and of God:

Not of man or of any group of men or of any church lest man should boast:

Eph 2: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 4  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)  6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Lest men should boast and start deciding who should and who should not benefit from salvation as if they died for our salvation?

Moreover, in matters of salvation the Lord knows who will be saved and who will not be saved.

Do you desire salvation?

Do you desire eternal life?

Do this:

4 STEPS to God

http://www.4stepstogod.com/

As simple as the above process is, many will not do it.

Whose fault then if you miss eternal life and then the fruit of salvation?

They that have done this are sanctified are born again, regenerated; Holy Ghost filled and fulled, bona fide, children of God with eternal life assured in their spirits.

The Lord God knows those who are his.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Man may sow, man may water but it is God that giveth the increase.

1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Friend:

Being saved in the spirit and enjoying salvation is not about toiling and spinning to get a gift that the Lord God himself has given freely. It is not about TAKING THOUGHT i.e. indulging in "Big Book," passing under fancy titles with a skull cap balanced delicately to the back of the head and talking nonsenses about encyclicals, dogmas, pontificates, exegeses and exe-jazzing.

It is about KNOWING AND BEING aware of the Christ in you, for you, with you, through you and as you and then GROWING after Order of the lilies in the fields.

The Lord Jesus himself put it like this:

Mt 6: 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Lu 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Pope Benedict XVI breaks silence: speaks of deep crisis facing Church post-Vatican II

1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

On March 16, speaking publicly on a rare occasion, Pope Benedict XVI gave an interview to Avvenire, the daily newspaper of the Italian Bishops' Conference, in which he spoke of a "two-sided deep crisis" the Church is facing in the wake of the Second Vatican Council. The report has already hit Germany courtesy of Vaticanist Guiseppe Nardi, of the German Catholic news website Katholisches.info. Pope Benedict reminds us of the formerly indispensable Catholic conviction of the possibility of the loss of eternal salvation, or that people go to hell: The missionaries of the 16th century were convinced that the unbaptized person is lost forever.

A History of False Teachings and Doctrines

The Roman Catholic teachings about Limbo, Purgatory, and hell are all false.

Some years ago, the Roman Catholics themselves repudiated their own teachings about Limbo, a place where souls could be purchased with a fat mass as if the Lord God can be bribed and even bought and sold like an Indulgence.

Yet the Romish church still maintains its false teaching about a place called Purgatory where unbaptized children go to.

The Limbo Doctrine is false.

The Purgatory Doctrine is also false.

This is because the unbaptized child is not doomed to hell.

That child is justified, declared holy in the sight of the Lord God because of the FAITH of even one parent.

1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

In fact, the faith of the believing husband makes salvation and eternal life available to the wide and the faith of the believing wife makes salvation available to the husband.

Because they are one flesh and spirit in marriage, see?

Ge 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

And in body and in soul and in spirit they are one in in the sight of the Lord God.

Mal 2; 14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. 15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Do you know how many poor devils have died with the false belief that their souls would be in Limbo until a Mass is said to remove them from that sorry place?

Do you know how many still practice the false religion that a Mass can save lost souls?

Do you know how many ignorant parents still panic and "baptize" equally ignorant children because of the false scare that the children will go to hell?

I say "baptize" in quote because despite the unimpeachable fact that the word baptism means "immersion" i.e. complete covering in water, these people sprinkle a few drops of water upon the child and then claim that the child is baptized.

Hence the Catholic teaching to the effect that the essential salvation i.e. eternal life is through baptism is false. For the simple reason that this is not what the Bible says about salvation.

1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

Our children need not be baptized because, should they die, before the maturity in Christ necessary for baptism, they make heaven because of either of their believing parent.

There was a time when the Lord God overlooked our ignorance.

That time is passed!

Ac 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (KJV)

The Lord God admonished all men to now repent.

We do not perish because of the devil.

We perish and are destroyed because of ignorance created by false doctrines from false religions and religious organizations teaching falsehoods.

Ho 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Moreover unto these ignorant servants of the Lord or blind guides, hear the word of the Lord God:

Lu 12: 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

A stripe is an affliction.

And mankind is open to 39 possible afflictions.

Apostle Paul stood up one day and warned mankind, especially those who seek the Lord God, to beware lest we be corrupted by the simplicity that is Christ, the simplicity that is the gospel of Christ and the simplicity that is the essential Christ-ian message.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

And, for centuries, religion; the so-called mainstream religion, has done just that:

Misleading mankind:

Religion produces rivers of encyclicals, dogmas, what have you dealing with issues that the Lord God has revealed to babes – the gospel of Christ and the gospel of salvation and eternal life.

Ps 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Mt 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Mt 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Lu 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Peter was a fisherman, unschooled but when he preached a sermon on the very first Pentecost, operating with the power and the wisdom of God that is Christ, 3000 people gave their lives to Christ.

Paul, who sat under Gamaliel to learn the Old Testament Scriptures, was not sent to the Jews. He was sent unto the Gentiles.

You can be a doctor of theology and still not know Christ.

Nowhere in this segment on being saved, salvation through faith does it say baptism.

Baptism is for something else – sanctification and purification leading to empowerment for the next best thing after the ground level of being saved.

That next best thing is the Christ i.e. the power and the wisdom of God working in the saved Christian so that we are now enabled to save ourselves daily from the fiery darts of the devil.

1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

There are 7 types of baptism and each baptism empowers us to overcome the devil or the save ourselves from the wiles of the devil here on earth. See three different baptisms in one verse alone.

Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

The baptism of water is unto, or for repentance. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is for power. The Baptism of fire is for purification and sanctification. Verse 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

There is a baptism unto repentance, a baptism unto suffering, s baptism of wisdom.

Baptism, therefore, has nothing to do with salvation and eternal life.
