Role: Java Web Developer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6 Months

Description:

Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, ) HTML , AJAX and CSS

    Well-versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies. 

    To integrate the UI with the Java application .

    Excellent communication skills

    Self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing environment and guide other team members.

    Strong customer service/client service skills

    Ability to architect and execute scalable, innovative concepts both on your own and also to guide the junior team members for development .

    Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, Prototype, Dojo, Backbone, YUI)

    Genuine interest in building UI that is attractive, very easy to use and highly responsive

    Proven ability and desire to learn new technologies, ensuring a quick ramp up on our current technology stack

    Proficiency in at least one web programming language

    Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax, JSON, and XML

    Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, security and other core concepts

    Fluency in JavaScript and jQuery

    Exposure to building web apps that work across browsers

    Experience using a client-side framework such as AngularJS

    Experience with Express framework or alike and with event based asynchronous programming.

    Experience with consuming web APIs

    Angular.js, React.js

    HTML5, CSS3, Web services/REST API's

    Javascript /ES6

    Knowledge of SEO & web page performance techniques

    Knowledge of Java is required.     

8-10 Yrs of Experience with 6+ yrs experience in web development
